Located on Laika Lane, this quiet home is a short walk to Captiva Village, with convenience to unique
shops and popular restaurants.

 Its large, sunny front deck overlooks the grounds which are surrounded by lush tropical landscaping.

There are four bedrooms and two full baths.The well-equipped kitchen, has French doors that open onto the front deck, where you can dine, entertain, or simply relax after a great day at the beach!  
Laika’s spacious pool area includes a nicely furnished deck, gas grill, large outdoor shower
and a convenient pool bath.

Sunsets are only steps from your door, the highlight of each great day, and the beginning
of a peaceful Captiva evening.

Private non-Smoking  home with private heated pool, cathedral ceiling great room,
and steps from the beach.
4 bedrooms (2 kings, queen, 1 bunk (full/twin), 2 full baths plus a half bath off the pool deck

and  $255.00 cancellation fee (plus applicable tax).
You may cancel your reservation up to 120 days before arrival and your payments
(excluding the reservation fee and applicable tax) will be refunded.
After this date, no cancellations are allowed and no refunds will be made.

Location is best part

The positives- the location is great. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. The trees and overall landscaping is beautiful. This house has so much potential!! However, the house itself needs so much work. This is our third time staying on the island, and the most we’ve spent this far on a house. For the amount of money
 we would expect much nicer amenities. The house was not clean upon arrival; there was food particles on the carpet and under the table. We vacuumed ourselves the first day and the vacuum was full. There was mold in the bathroom shower that could easily be cleaned with bleach. The shower backed up the first day; we called maintenance on this- the gentleman explained it was the way the shower floor slanted ? However, miraculously it was better afterwards. The kitchens drawers were filthy on the insides. All the cabinetry was sticky; like it had never been cleaned. Half the outlets didn’t work. We did contact the office about he lack of cleanliness; they sent a “cleaning crew” back
 no idea what more they cleaned, it looked no different. Do not expect beach amenities! Supposedly they are not apart of the rental, but we’ve never had this problem at other homes we’ve rented. The umbrella is rusted out, and broken, beach chairs rusty, old broken tykes wagon -that we were able to get replaced Bc I explained my husbands foot was broken (this is true). Beach towels are torn and old. If I were the owners of a million dollar home on this beautiful island I would be embarrassed. I’m sure they have no idea what poor shape the house is in
 At least I hope not for the amount they are charging. We had friends visit from Naples and I found myself apologizing for the house! We love Captiva and work hard to bring our family down for a week. While we still certainly enjoyed ourselves, I will definitely make sure next time that the house is everything one would expect for the amount of money.

Spring Break 2022

We had multiple couples stay and the rooms were great. Plenty of room for everyone. There were enough chairs for everyone at the dinner table. The light switches were a little confusing for the pool area and walkway lighting. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend staying at this location again!

awesome property!

This home is just perfect for 6-8 people. it is nestled near the beach on a quiet tropical road. The pool was a wonderful addition. My only issue was with a few minor things inside (door missing to laundry closet, no hair dryer, some lights not working, fridge shelf missing)

Super Clean!

We have rented at Captiva tons and tons
like twice a year when we lived in Winter Park, FL
.rented last Oct on Laika Ln also. Beach proximity is great
..First time renting this home
. Clean, clean, clean. Really a nice way to start vacay. Just my wife and me. Would be great for two couples or two couples and a kid or two
. Three couples might be tight for living quarters (one common area even though 4 BR
.only two baths)
..perfect for one couple, or two
. Nice pool
makes a difference when coming off a hot day at the beach just a 3 minute stroll away. WILL RENT THIS HOME AGAIN!!!!!

Laika Rocks!!

We had a perfect week away. Yet the best came at the time our departure and our car died. AAA kept us waiting 2 hours. We think our hero was Ferdinand? From American Rentals who drove back to his office- brought his pickup and got us going!!! He was amazing and I hope someone tells his boss.
