"The apartment was great for what we needed! Only downside was that due to being directly under the roof in the second floor of an older building, it was quite hot during the daytime (the AC units are only in the bedrooms). Regardless it was a great little place!"

"This is the best location in Acadia. Away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. Great local neighborhood restaurant called the Lighthouse. Acadia Outdoor Center is a half a mile walk down the hill where you can rent ebikes, get hiking gear and snacks, or get a blueberry latte and delicious gelato. The house was great for our family of 5. It is an old, charming 1940s era bungalow. All the bedrooms are upstairs and the one bath is down. The stairs are quite steep with narrow planks. The washer and dryer are in the basement which has a very low head clearance (I'm 6'3") and is not the most inviting space in the house. However, the newer and very large capacity washer and dryer are great and a very nice amenity. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need including a coffee maker that does k-cups (bring your own) and traditional brew (Filters and coffee provided). The dining room table was perfect with seating for six and the two living rooms were perfect. One for TV and one for reading/relaxing. Plenty of parking for two or three cars in the driveway and a nice deck out back for grilling. The does have AC upstairs. There are window units in two rooms an upright unit in the other. They are a little loud...We ebiked for three days and it was awesome to be a mile and a half from Jordan Pond House and the carriage roads. Our host was great and was very prompt with communication. Highly recommend this spot. It's an incredible value, truly a hidden gem!"
