"The hotel is conveniently located very close to bus stop, shopping lots and a restaurant. Whilst the room size is compact, it is good enough for the purpose of sleeping at night. It has a small fridge, but lacking of microwave and freezer. Hot water for shower is instantly available, no need to wait."

"We stayed at the Airport Gateway Motor Lodge for 2 separate nights. Once on our 12.05am arrival to Christchurch where Lexi was such a fantastic ball of energy when she came to pick us up from the airport, that she gave us a 2nd wind. We couldn't have asked for better. Later on in the morning, due to a few major hiccups, we had a rocky start to our holiday. I was quite upset but Jacqui was the most helpful, calming & understanding person we could have met. It was as if she was tuned into my anxiety & not once did she make me feel rushed or embarrassed. Without Jacqui I probably would have had a meltdown. Due to the service & positive vibes we received, we decided to stay the night before we went home to Australia. From now on, the Airport Gateway Motor Lodge is our first point of call whenever we go to Christchurch.
