"ALTHOUGH THE HOTEL WAS VERY BUSY WITH A CONFERENCE DURING MY RECENT STAY, STAFF WERE GREAT, PARTICULARLY GEORGIA AND JULIA IN THE BAR AREA WITH THEIR CHEERY JOVIAL BANTER WHILST SERVING. NICE TO HEAR THE ART OF CONVERSATION IS NOT DEAD. GLAD TO SEE THE AIR CONDITIONING IN ROOMS IS BACK WORKING AGAIN."

"Positives Great hotel, lovely staff, lovely clean room, comfortable nights sleep, coffee maker, kettles biscuits etc in room. Amazing breakfast. Downside Small blood stain at bottom of duvet cover, my husband told me not to call about it I do have a photo., I then decided to order room service 2 shandys and the Pina Colada dessert, when I took the cover off it was 2 scoops of icecream and some coconut no pineapple at all nothing like the menu description, I even took a photo as I I was quite shocked. I could not call room service to complain, as the phone in the room was not working I reported this to reception as I called to place the room service order from my mobile I should have gone to reception before checking out unfortunately we were in a rush. "

"Friendly hosts who are very welcoming into their home. Service was very good with a wide range of choice for breakfast. The little touches are most appreciated - such as a mini fridge in the room for fresh milk to make a tea or coffee. Very quaint and welcoming place. Will certainly stay again."
