Large, modern design apartment a stone’s throw away from Corso Italia, one of the trendiest districts of the city. Ognina seafront (900 meters) is reachable in a short walk, as well as the heart of the nightlife.



The house, located on the 3rd floor (with elevator), is elegantly furnished in grey and white and features some design items by well-known brands like Febal and Kartell, which make the apartment stylish and modern. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people, and thanks to its central location, it is perfect to explore the city and its lively nightlife.

It is composed of a large living room with a comfortable L-shaped sofa, TV, and table with four chairs, a well-equipped kitchen with oven and microwave, 2 spacious double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower stalls, and a balcony.

Catania boasts a beautiful historical center, listed among the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Its architectural wonders, as well as the colorful street markets, the wild beauty of Mount Etna, and the crystal-clear sea of the coasts, will seduce you.

Among the others, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata (the city’s patron saint), Bellini theater, the street markets, Via Etnea (Catania’s most important and scenographic street), the wonderful Monastery of the Benedictines (home to the Faculty of Human Sciences) and the Etna are worth a visit.

And obviously, it is impossible not to mention Catania’s culinary tradition, with its typical arancini (fried rice balls), the iris (fried or baked stuffed bombs), Sant’Agata’s olivette (typical sweets made of almond paste and colored in green) and the famous brioches with granita.

For horse meat lovers, Via del Plebiscito with its typical street embers is not to be missed. You can already smell the delicious aroma even from a long way off! An unmissable stop-over just outside the city is the coast, and more specifically the beautiful Gulf of Acitrezza, where in 1881 Giovanni Verga set his best-known novel, “I Malavoglia”.

The apartment is located in Via dei Ronchi, in a residential area a short walk away from Corso Italia and 500 meters away from the Department of Business and Economics of Catania University. The metro (stops: Italia and Galatea) is reachable on foot in a few minutes, as well as Via Etnea, which is 1,5 km away.



The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about a 15-minute drive from the apartment (8 km). It is also possible to take a bus from Catania Central Station that leads to the airport in approximately 20 minutes.
