Not kept up well

I chose to stay here, because I have never been disappointed at a Sleep in hotel in the past. This one was run down and dirty. The bathroom tile grout on the floor was black and disgusting and one corner of the bathroom appeared to have collected water in the past, making the tile and grout stained and discolored. The walls were marked up and dirty and the carpet was ripped up. The pool area also was not maintained well. The walls were rusty and stained. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was standard. We were not harmed by out experience at all, I just expected more especially for the price point.

Comfortable place and reasonably priced

Pros: Comfortable rooms and good wifi
Location: Well if you have a car or take the bus, the UIUC campus is only 10-15 minutes away.
I stayed here to go to a conference at UIUC and thought I would get some walking in since it was about 2 miles away from campus. It is reasonably priced and the rooms are clean, large and comfortable. The wifi works fine. It turned out that there is a bus just across the street that would take me to campus for $1 so I did not need to walk that much after all! I would recommend it to anyone, having a car or not.

Room smelled like a wet dog & key card never worke

First room key pad broken. 2nd room stank like a wet dog. Had to have key re programmed every time we tried to use it. Parked in back no lighting key card wouldn't work had to walk around to front

Inexpensive, not cheap.

Pros: Very nice room, not a usual cookie-cutter layout. Comfortable bed, good TV, all in good condition.
Cons: Continental breakfast was meager, but aren't they all?
Location: Very close to campus, shopping mall.
Was pleasantly surprised - exceeded my expectations for a motel in this price range.

Exceeded expectations.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: internet was out for most of my visit
Excellent hotel at a reasonable price. Convenient location, comfortable and quiet.
