The decor was not as nice and the outside area was very unkept, needs some work and maintenance on facility - when we checked the room: it was dark, dirty, the sheets had stains on them; bathroom was stingy and dark as well, very small, with a small vanity, not suitable for a family of 3 or 4 people

You get what you pay for. I was just spending the night by myself after arriving late. I just needed a clean bed and a bathroom before resuming travel the day after and that is what I got. Wouldn´t stay there on a family vacation

Cleaning

Overall room was quite clean. Bathroom needs attention - toilet leaks so floor is in bad shape. Bath tub needs a good brushing to remove grime at horizontal joint in wall. You see black when turning on taps. It's a nonsmoking room but burn marks on bedspread, curtains and tub. Very inexpensive so you get what you pay for....ok for a night.

Should have slept in my car.

Half way a brutal drive, I decided to stop for some rest. I got online and the rooms looked decent for the price. I finally make it at 1am. The first thing the lady tells me is that all the phone lines are down and makes me sign a waiver. I get checked in and make it to my room. Walk in and the overwhelming smell of what almost smelt like dog urine hit me like a ton of bricks. The room wasn't refundable or I would have peaced out right then. I go to wash my face and brush my teeth.... The sink doesn't drain and there's no hot water. I give up and crawl in bed. 2am and need to be on the road in four hours. Nothing but loud people arguing, doors slamming, and horns blowing all night long. I managed to nap for an hour. Never. Never again will I stay here. Save your money, sleep in your car. It's quiter, smells better, and doesn't cost anything.

We selected a non-smoking room which was not really a non-smoking, based on the fact that the room wreaked and there was burn in the cover on the bed. There was beer from the previous stay in the fridge and wrappers from the soap still on the floor, cleaners need to do a better inspection. The price we paid for the hotel was not that much cheaper than hotels where we could have more quality.

Decent place for a good price

Although this motel is older, I was surprised at the state of the rooms - clean, spacious, and most importantly I didn't walk in feeling creeped out by dirt, grime or potential critters lurking in the corners. I'd stay there again, the price was right and it was right off the highway, plus near gas and food.

Here’s a cleaner, more polished version that still sounds genuine: I booked this thinking it would be a good, inexpensive, and safe place to stay. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It appeared that people were actually living there, and there were creepy-looking men hanging around everywhere. Even my husband felt uncomfortable and thought the place was sketchy. To make matters worse, the listing showed a nice hotel with a pool, which was very misleading. The property we arrived at was nothing like the photos and was in very poor condition. We ended up spending an additional $167 on another hotel because we did not feel safe staying there. I would not recommend this place, especially for families with children or women traveling alone.
