High-quality furnishings and decor, with an emphasis on bio-sourced materials (wood, wood wool, cellulose wadding, natural linoleum, water-based paint, rainwater harvesting system, etc.). The cottage is served by bus line 2 (supermarket in Champhol, city center, train station, and hospital), and public parking is free.

Nearby you'll find many points of interest: Notre-Dame Cathedral and its treasury, of course, but also the Maison Picassiette, the Chartres en Lumière night walks, the International Stained Glass Center, the Odyssée aquatic center, the Chartres go-kart track, bike rentals near the train station at the heart of several routes, cinemas, and theaters… Further afield, the castles of Maintenon and Versailles are accessible by train, as is Aunt Léonie's house in Illiers-Combray for Proust enthusiasts, and the Château de Châteaudun… Tours, Blois, Orléans, Alençon, and Le Mans are easily accessible from Chartres. Single-story, non-smoking accommodation. The host's home is adjacent to the cottage; access to the owner's garden is only permitted in the owner's presence, due to the presence of a water feature. Pets are not allowed: the presence of an assistance dog at the host's home limits the possibility of cohabitation with other animals; if Team's happens to visit you, you must prevent it from entering the cottage and not feed it, as Golden Retrievers are greedy; however, cuddles are welcome! Please inform Gîtes de France®[hidden]) if you do not wish the dog to visit you.
Parking is only permitted on the property if there is disabled access; maneuvering is still difficult. The cottage, which is entirely on one level, has been adapted to accommodate a person with reduced mobility (accessible spaces, bathroom, walk-in shower, adapted sink and toilet).
However, an 8 cm step at the entrance and the slope of the pedestrian access on the property prevent it from obtaining the Gîtes de France® Tourism & Disability label. Developed in partnership with Gîtes de France®, the price includes: bed linen for the stay (beds made upon arrival), and dish towels. As the cottage is heated by electricity, you have 8 kWh per day included (any excess consumption will be charged to the host on site). End-of-stay cleaning is not included and is an optional extra; whether or not the cleaning option is chosen, the tenant is expected to empty the rubbish bins, wash and put away the dishes, vacuum, give the bathrooms a basic clean, and tidy the furniture.
