It is a beautiful hotel. The front desk was knowledgeable and kind. Our room was a let down though. It was really damp. The floor felt damp, there was visible condensation on the inside of the windows. The bathroom was very small but thats easily overlooked knowing its a historic hotel. The bathtub however looked like the enamel or paint was peeling badly. I would not let my son take a bath in that. We toughed it out because we spent most of our time out of the room amd didn't want the hassle of requesting a room change. If possible I recommend not staying in the manor house area.

Hotel conditions absolutely not in accordance with the price that is charged. I intend never to stay again. A great disappointment. One of the worst ROI for a hotel I have stayed in my travels around the world.
