Mount Nouveau will delight the whole family. Nature surrounds you and our attention to detail will please you. Come visit Rock City and Ruby Falls only minutes away!
Enjoy this beautiful home where nature streams inside, accompanied with glamorous furnishings and photo worthy walls.

This Hollywood Regency inspired home is in a breathtaking setting and is perfect for a small friend or family group. It would provide the perfect place to rest after outdoor adventures on the beautiful mountain or to enjoy the thriving Chattanooga downtown scene.
From the front door you walk into a light, open living space with a stone fireplace, a plush seating area, an original hand painted gold accent wall, TV and mini bar.
The master bedroom features a fabulous queen bed, gorgeous furnishings, a closet, dresser and a TV. There is a bathroom off the master bedroom with a soaker tub and separate shower. The second bedroom features another comfy queen bed with more gorgeous bedding a large dresser and closet. This bedroom has a sliding door that opens to its own little deck that leads to the backyard.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a family sized fridge and an electric glass-top range with microwave above it. In the kitchen there is a breakfast nook with comfortable bench seating and extra chairs to seat up to 6.
The sunroom is around the corner from the stone fireplace in the living room and has a cozy loveseat that faces a sliding door that opens up to the back deck. There are games on open shelves in the sunroom. The back deck also connects to an exterior door to the master bedroom.
There is a third bedroom with a twin bed plus trundle bed. This bedroom would also make a great office; it is equipped with a desk facing an amazing widow and the wifi is great.
The second bathroom is outside the second bedroom with a combination tub and shower.
The fireplace contains an electric fireplace insert for comfort and safety. The yard around the home has a large fire pit for bonfires and is surrounded by stone walls built in the 1930's.
There will be a guest manual available at the house with all the information you need for your stay plus itineraries, restaurant suggestions, etc.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location was great and the directions were easy to follow. We were able to get into town easily and we were very close to many great hiking trails. The home was very clean and prepped for visitors.

Wonderful Cozy Hideaway

This house is perfect if you want privacy, a great location, and your own natural playground right in the backyard. My family and I loved this spot! It was in a great location, just up the road from Ruby Falls. The house is in a quiet area with lots of space for our kids to run and play. The house had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful! We hope to stay here again!

We were very happy during our stay at MN! The beds are cozy, the banquette is perfect for family meals, and the rock garden is divine (especially for a child who brought her own fairy wings for such occasion). The house is very well equipped, beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Family Get-a-Way

My wife and three kids stayed here on our vacation this year and the property was perfect for us. We took full advantage of Lookout Mountain by walking the short walk up to the Craven House, hitting Ruby Falls, and heading out to some free walking trails to waterfalls just up the road. A short drive to Publix for all the supplies we needed and owner was very responsive. We had a great time and would definitely be back.

Great location, close to major attractions

Family of four, including children ages 4 and 10, had a great time here. The property was plenty large (and big enough to hold a few more), and comfortable enough for our stay, though we spent far more time away from the property as there was so much to do very close by. Would recommend!

Rural setting with city amenities

Lovely peaceful woodsy location close to all major attractions and restaurants and only about 10 minutes from downtown waterfront. We were able to fix meals with the supplies available, had a small camp fire on site, and even hiked just 10 minutes from the house to the trail head for Sunset Rock. We would definitely stay again.

We came to Chattanooga for softball. So thankful that we chose this place. It was perfect for our family. Very peaceful setting, away from the hustle & bustle in the city. The vintage decor brought back a lot of wonderful memories. Katie was a wonderful host and very responsive. The beds were very comfy! Sunrises from the pink couch were amazing! We would love to return one day!

Loved the location -- 5 minutes from downtown, walkable to trails. House is super cute with anything you need. Only thing that could make I better is a covered porch off the back to enjoy the outdoors when it is raining. Highly recommend!

New Years Trip

Wow! We absolutely loved this place. From the moment we walked in to a Christmas tree in the living room, we knew we had picked the right place to stay! We are something of Chattanooga 'veterans'- visiting often, but we usually stay in a downtown hotel. This property was a perfect blend of staying on the mountain yet being close to downtown. We were able to get anywhere downtown within 15 minutes. The kitchen was well appointed- Katie seems to have thought of everything you'll need to cook dinner at home. My only 'complaint' would be that the pictures on the listing do not do near the justice the view of the valley at night deserved (we were there in the winter) and of the sunrise. Breathtaking! We got to see all kinds of fireworks from the warmth of our house on New Years Eve- it was so fun and beautiful. I honestly cannot wait to go back. Hard to be flawless- and no experience is - but this was close!
