A nice place to stay

We like staying here when we can as we visit chesterfield quite regularly, however our stays are based on price over anything else due to how many times we come up. The rooms are clean and tidy , the staff have always been friendly and helpful and the bar and restaurant is a nice place to be Food was good and great value I will look out for deals for future trips

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room and bed was comfortable and facilities were good and i slept well. The breakfast was average a few items had been replaced . Only complaint was the mould on the shower head which i had to wipe off. Would return

Very happy woth the girls that were serving breakfast for the 2 weeks we stayed there Always happy to greet us in the morning. Will be staying there again at some point and hope to see them again. Also the blah blah blah. (Inside joke)

Very disappointing

Stayed in upstairs room - number 9 from memory. Two nights of very poor sleep caused by screeching pipes in room next door when bath or shower was run. The hotel must be aware that this is a problem. The walls are also very thin and next door's television can be heard. On the second night, I was awoken by the person next door running the shower or bath at 5.20 in the morning! Have stayed at the Olde House several times before and even held a reception there but will not be using it in future. Very disappointing.

Very comfortable and clean, staff exceptionally friendly and happy to help. Plenty of meal choices - and a Variety of events held there too - which was good fun! We were looked after very well at breakfast by the staff - but would’ve preferred a help yourself Continental style breakfast, where you can choose from what you see, rather than table service - the same as they do at Premier Inn. However , enjoyable stay and couldn’t fault in any way. Thankyou.

All staff alike were very nice, and a credit to the hotel an restaurant, couldn’t help enough for you, lovely clean room, everything you need in it, meals an breakfast very good, all in all had a fabulous stay, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend
