This is a lovely old Florida hotel. We really enjoyed the grounds and the peacocks. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and beautifully decorated.

I love historical hotels and homes and Putnam Lodge is so well maintained with historical details. The staff are very nice and the restaurant is great. The peacocks walking around the yard were an added bonus.

This is an older hotel that has a very interesting history. It’s worth the time to enjoy the artwork found throughout the lodge. Everyone on staff that we encountered was friendly and helpful and we found the other people who stayed there to be delightful. The bed was extremely comfortable! The only complaint I had was there was music playing at least until 11:00 pm. It then resumed early the next morning. I think it was coming from their beautiful back courtyard?
