Nice room and friendly staff, but that's about it. The breakfast was the worst I've had at a hotel and the pool needs work. There was no tiki bar like described and birds poo-ed all over the pool deck and furniture. They even swam in the pool which you can't really help, but someone should be out there cleaning the pool deck and furniture during pool hours.

The check- in was easy and the clerk very sweet and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised after reading some reviews about broken showers and musty smells. Our room was SUPER clean and roomy-the bathroom clean and in excellent repair. The bed was very comfortable and we rested and slept well. The a/c ran constantly but it was super hot out so no problem. The room was very quiet though the parking lot was full. We did not use the pool, but it looked as though others were enjoying it. Check out was fast and again a nice clerk asking about our stay. We did not take advantage of the breakfast but again a lot of others were enjoying it. We will book again definitely.

The room was very clean and the staff was wonderful. Unfortunately we had very little to NO hot water! Even though we let the water run ahead of time, it was barely warm and turned to freezing within 5 minutes in the shower. We would definitely NOT recommend staying at the Anchor Inn! Clearly all of the owners’ profits and resources are used for the adjacent Marina Bay Hotel.
