I recently stayed at Sydney Riseon hotel, and while the room and bathroom were very basic, my overall experience was okay. It's definitely a budget-friendly option, and the location is decent. However, I wouldn't describe my stay as particularly enjoyable.

Easy access to public transport and the city. Good sized rooms and friendly, helpful staff. A little noisy early morning with the garbage bins being moved around in the back lane but overall good value and convenient location. Definitely stay here next time we're in Sydney.
