I would definitely recommend Decameron to anyone. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our experience truly enjoyable. great, friendly and accommodating to needs. Food was great and the bar tenders were amazing. Big shout out to Juan for being the best bar tender. I will definitely be going back.

While not a 5 star resort per se it was a 5 star experience for us. We prefer smaller places and usually don't go all inclusive as we enjoy eating local but the price point made it the best of both worlds. Food was good with many options and variety. The resort is older but well maintained and clean. The staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the entertainment, a young lady who sang (different sets) 2 nights was charming and very good. While no swimming on this beach it was great for walking (estuary at one end) and enjoying the waves, birds and sunrises. The 3 pools were plenty for swimming. We really enjoyed San Jose Del Cabo and Decameron was well located for all of our adventures.

Bedroom we had was not handy cap accessibility, roof leaking in the passages when raining, leaking roof in the restaurant when raining, few staff greeted us with smile, but Edwardo restaurant waiter and Jael were both very attentive to our needs

The bed was backbreaking need to fix that. . If you improved the food, put dancing on the beach at night like the Hyatt ziva, and add a private section in Luna for romantic dinners ( at no extra charge) you will definitely get more business. I am a marketing manager.

From the get go it was an unpleasant experience. The resort tried to charge me $500 USD more than my booking price. Rooms were dark and dingy. Super loud and noisy when staff pushed carts and bins by early in the morning and late at night. The resort needs major work and upgrades. Trip hazards everywhere. You can only book two dinner reservations at their one exclusive restaurant even though the resort was not at full capacity. Buffet was hit or miss. We went out into town for meals three out of our seven days. Staff was also hit or miss. Some were super friendly and helpful. Others were tired and grumpy. No late check-out allowed. We sat in the lobby waiting for our ride to the airport for over an hour. They offered drinks to guests arriving but if you are leaving, don't expect a final drink or any hospitality. That's a shame because that's the last chance to leave an impression on the guest's experience.

The stay at this hotel was decent. The staff did their job, but only one employee made a difference and created the vibe. Enrique Rodriguez (DJ) was not only friendly, but remembered you and was very welcoming. A smile and the only employee that looked like he enjoyed his job. He definitely brought the vibe to the place. Pool area can use upgrades, tiles are old, the adult pool can use some TLC. If your looking for lively music, take your personal speaker. I do have to say overall, the facilities are decent, but there are small areas that can use upgrades that would make a great difference. The food is standard, nothing was memorable and it was very limited. There is a super market directly across the street that offers everything from cooked food to baked goods, alcohol, so if you prefer shopping and having your own items it is very convenient. As I have previously experienced with all inclusive resorts, this resort did not have pool or beachside service. We had to go to the bar to get our drinks each time. And there is not a variety of food throughout the day. The beach was nice, but the lounge chairs are there for use, it's not an area that receives service. Also, there was a bad odor, like sitting water coming from under the patio floor that can be smelled from going into the beach are to the adult pool, so the smell is not pleasant. I would hope that the hotel can make some repairs and upgrades. It's a great location and peaceful.

las toallas duras y rasposas, el horario de cierre de restaurantes nos deja sin opciones de alimentos, sugiero que tengan abierto siempre el area de snack de la alberca, tienen muy poco personal asi que no tienen servicio de alimentos y bebidas en la playa ni en el area de piscina. Los empleados no se esmeran en hacerte sentir comoda, uno de ellos, me comento, que me hacian el favor de atenderme..
