Tuscan-Umbrian retreat at Podere Umbro

A restored mid 19th century Farmhouse set on an olive grove of over 600 olive trees between Tuscany and Umbria, in one of the most stunning regions of Italy. The farmhouse contains 4 individual apartments, fully equipped for a self catering vacation. 17 acres of land and views of the Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. 1 mile from the medieval beautiful town of Citta Della Pieve it s the perfect location to enjoy the surrounding area and nearby cities and towns. The 36 foot swimming pool which is privately owned by the apartments and has views over the valleys in an elevated position. The owners are happy for you to help yourself to the fig trees, apricots, pomegranate and vegetable gardens plus all the herbs for cooking are growing on the land. October vacations can include olive picking with the possibility of taking away your own organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The trails around the property make it a perfect location for bike riding and horse rider will enjoy the possibility of horse hacking with our horses. There are 4 apartments available and they can accommodate up to 20 people, so if you see no availability, or you are a large group, please do drop us an email, we are like to be able to accommodate you. Animals are welcome, as long as their owners are well behaved! On request we can organise cooking and pottery classes for adults and kids, day trips to Rome and Florence and wine tasting with local producers.
