Villa Veneranda is a characteristic and welcoming two-story age-old farm house surrounded by meadows and by green hills, in the border area between Umbria and Tuscany. It sleeps 14 people. From Villa Veneranda you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the greenery and of the hills. Villa Veneranda is 400 square meters (4300 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private terrace, a private patio, a private garden, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 10 km (6.2 miles) from Città di Castello, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 1.8 km (roughly 1.1 mile) and a grocery store at 6 km (roughly 3.7 miles). You will reach Villa Veneranda from the parking area without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Villa Veneranda you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. Please note that access to Villa Veneranda is along a 1.5-kilometer (0.9-mile) unpaved road.

Villa Veneranda is an ancient 19th century farm house immersed in the beauty of Umbrian countryside, and an ideal starting point for exploring the architectural and artistic beauties of the Upper Tiber Valley.


At your disposal, in the huge green park surrounding the building, you will also find a bocce ball court, a volleyball court and five-a-side football pitch.


As guests of Villa Veneranda, in autumn time you will have the opportunity to participate in the grape, chestnut and olive harvest, or explore the surrounding woods in search of mushrooms and truffles. Mountain biking and horseback riding are available upon request and for a fee. On site you will also find an educational farm that offers (upon request and for a fee) educational experiences for adults and children, allowing you to get to know agricultural life up close.
Swimming Pool
You will reach the swimming pool from the patio going down approximately 27 stairway steps. The pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long, from 1.10 meter (3.6 feet) to 1.70 meters (5.6 feet) deep. The swimming pool has a sinuous shape. It is filled with sea water. The area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, sun loungers and an external shower. By the pool you will also find a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the greenery and of the hills. The pool is open from mid-April until mid-October.
Terrace
The terrace is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. It is equipped with small sofas and armchairs, as well as with a gazebo. Here you will be able to have fun with a ping pong table. From the terrace you will enjoy a broad view of the Umbrian hills and of the swimming pool.
Patio
The patio is 120 square meters (1290 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by an awning. It is equipped with two wood benches and with tables, chairs and sun umbrellas. From the patio you will enjoy a lovely view of the greenery.
Garden
The garden is 8000 square meters (86000 square feet). It is partly shaded by tall trees. It is equipped with tables, chairs and deck chairs. In the garden you will find a children's playground and you will be able to have fun with a football table, and you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a nice view of the greenery and of the surrounding hills.

The first living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are classic and welcoming, and include a sofa. There is an age-old fireplace made of bricks. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The room also has a window.
Living Room 2
You will be able to enter the second living room from the main entrance hall through an access area. The furnishings are classic, and include a sofa and two armchairs. From the living room you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The room also has a window.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the first living room through a brickwork arched opening. The floor is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The five dining tables can accommodate 20 guests. From the dining room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room also has three windows.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the dining room through an access area. It is equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, two electric ovens, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate six guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the garden. The room also has a window.
