The staff are wonderful. Due to renovations the property was not at its best but will be soon . Our room was newly renovated and very clean and fresh and comfortable, decent beds. Good job on the decor I would highly recommend this place once Reno’s complete

Best Hotel in the area!

Very friendly staff, super quick and easy check in. The outside property was clean, the pool area was clean. Our room was great, comfy beds, clean bathroom and lots of outlets for charging electronics! Plus they give you discount vouchers to eat at Shoney’s (everyone loves a Shoney’s Breakfast Bar)

The property is in the process of updating the rooms. Our room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant next door has an OUTSTANDING supper and breakfast buffet. Great prices on rooms.

The room we stayed in was a newer room that seemed like it had just been remodeled, so it was clean and nice, but it lacked anywhere to hang things, did not have a hairdryer, and did not seem as welcoming as other places we have stayed…more like bare bones. They were working on other areas so it was noisy in the morning.

The room was newly remodeled but the bed was on a tin pedestal that creaked every time you moved. There was no picture on the TV only sound. There were inadequate blankets for the bed. The shower was great. It was noisy after 8 am because of the construction.

Rooms were being renovated so workers tools and construction items were laying around. New mattresses and pillows were on the cheap end of scale but room was very clean. Price was in line for a convenient quick overnight stay.

Gem in Clanton, Alabama

This a pass-thru, last minute stay. We were very pleased with this facility. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room for such a reasonable price. It was easy to get to off the highway. The night clerk was pleasant and efficient. The room was updated, very clean, and comfortable. The facility was quiet. Upon checkout, the morning clerk was friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the discounted breakfast at the Shoneys next door. We will keep this one on our list of places to stay when on the road.
