Slow down on Pacific City’s sand-spit peninsula—water to both sides, gulls overhead, and that laid-back Oregon Coast rhythm. Start on the Nestucca River (calm morning paddles), wander to Cape Kiwanda for beach time and Haystack Rock views, then cap the day with dory boat watching and a pint at Pelican Brewing. Evenings are for board games, movies, and the sound of surf in the distance.
