Villa Jarana Cómpeta by Ruralidays

Holiday home 7 km south of Competa, province of Malaga, Andalucia.

A getaway to the hills of East Costa del Sol is bound to be good if you rent this holiday home on the hills between Competa and Torrox. The facilities provided, together with the most impressive views you can dream of, make this rental the perfect place to spend your well-deserved holidays. Besides, the modern touches that mix with the rustic atmosphere create a cosy ambience that will provide you with the most idyllic setting you can imagine.

The villa's main room is the coquettish dining-living room, whose lounge area is set facing wide windows. This way, you can rejoice in the hill views while relaxing on the comfortable sofas provided, by the fireplace in case you choose to stay here in autumn. On the other hand, the dining room leads to the kitchen, where high-quality appliances will ensure all the equipment needed to prepare some delicious dishes.

The sleeping area features three spacious bedrooms, where up to six people can sleep and regain their strengths. They are equipped with one double bed each, and the master bedroom also features a modern en-suite with a shower. Another bathroom, with a bathtub, is available for the other guests.

The living room and the bedrooms are equipped with warm/cool air-con.

As mentioned before, the outdoor space is staggering and it guarantees the ideal setting for rejoicing in the warm sunshine and breathtaking views. The porch is equipped with an area for "al fresco" dining, and it opens onto the lovely terrace. Here, another outdoor dining table and a chill-out space are provided, as well as a few sun loungers that allow the whole family to soak up the sunshine. On one side of the villa, you will then find the magnificent private pool, which is ideal for a refreshing dip under the Andalusian sun; on the other hand, a BBQ and a hammock complete the villa's facilities.

You can enjoy the outdoors in the way you see fit, always accompanied by the dazzling panorama, from the smooth hills down to the blue Mediterranean Sea and the town of the Coast.

The access to the villa is possible via a paved lane, except for the last 100 meters, which are unpaved.

Gorgeous stay

We absolutely loved our stay here. The views seem almost too nice to be real, and the heating kept the elderly members of our group plenty comfortable for our two week hiking vacation in February. Silvia was so sweet and helpful. Great memories!!

We had a lovely time at the villa, relaxing and enjoying the terrace, grill and pool area. We were given a guided tour when we arrived by the very welcoming owners Silvia and Francisco. The villa is perfectly positioned with amazing views for miles. The villa was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The beds were very comfy and the pillows (Tempur) were the best I've ever used. The nearby town Competa was a very charming place and just 10-15 mins drive from the villa.

If you want peace, privacy, space and the most amazing views, Villa ----- delivers! We enjoyed 10 days here and there is not a single thing we would change. It is exactly like the photos! The outside space is great with 4 different areas to enjoy; the Bali bed with views across the pool and to the sea, sun beds to enjoy sea and mountain views, ditto with the outside dining area and finally at the back of the house a lovely area to chill in the shade, with table, chairs and a hammock. To the side of the house there is a built-in BBQ with an outdoor kitchen (sink & worktop) and this is where the washing machine is located. The interior is very spacious with 3 bedrooms, the master with shower en-suite and a family bathroom (with bath) next to the twin and double room. There is air-conditioning throughout, with oil filled radiators for cooler months and a lovely wood burning stove fire in the living room. We enjoyed the massive smart TV in the living room and there is even an Amazon Fire Stick for you to log in to with your own account and watch Netflix etc. There may have been a sound system (highly likely) but it was not something we investigated. Sylvia leaves lots of (English and other languages) books around, so you wont run out of something to read. The kitchen is well equipped and you have everything you are likely to need, full oven and hob, microwave, kettle. There is a decent sized fridge freezer which is handy and allows you to do big grocery shops. There is a coffee percolator and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. I appreciated the stick/immersion/hand blender which I used quite a bit, a dishwasher likewise. Basic consumables were in the cupboards ready for us, dishwasher tabs, washing detergent, washing up liquid, cling wrap foil etc., as well as a toilet rolls for a few days. Your unsorted rubbish can be placed in any of the bin containers along the roads, which was convenient. The tap water in the area has a high mineral/lime content which may cause stomach upset if you are not used it – no problem, water is sold in all the supermarkets in anything up to 8 litres for only a Euro or so. We found the villa to be immaculately clean. Sylvia obviously has very high standards – well done and thank you Sylvia! Most people will wonder about the access, we certainly did. The honest answer is the last 30-40 metres of so is on a bit of a rocky track so you just have to drive a little tentatively. We managed easily.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Competa. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir wurden sehr herrlich begrüßt und haben bei Fragen immer eine freundliche Antwort bekommen. Der Pool ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Auch auf den Terassenmöbeln kann man es gut aushalten =). Wir würden das Haus ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen.

Die Villa selbst ist geräumig und komfortabel und verfügt über eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Silvia hat uns herzlich empfangen und war jederzeit erreichbar, wenn wir etwas brauchten (was bei uns nicht der Fall war!). Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir haben in diesem wunderschönen Landhaus übernachtet, da es viele Regentage gab, und trotzdem war es eine zufriedenstellende Erfahrung. Das Haus ist perfekt gegen die Kälte isoliert. Wir waren von den schneebedeckten Bergen umgeben und konnten den Kamin genießen. Darüber hinaus können Sie von den (sehr bequemen) Sesseln im Wohnzimmer oder vom Hauptschlafzimmer aus die wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Haus genießen. Die Küche hat direkten Zugang zum Grill, was wir aufgrund des Regens sehr zu schätzen wussten, ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Das Bett ist äußerst bequem, das Haus ist sehr sauber und wir schätzen auch, dass es genügend Tischdecken, Küchentücher und Haushaltsgegenstände gibt. Wir fanden es toll, dass ein beheizter Handtuchhalter dabei war, da wir eine Woche lang bei starkem Regen und Kälte verbrachten und dieser alle unsere Bedürfnisse erfüllte. Wir hoffen auf jeden Fall, wiederzukommen, um den Pool und die Spaziergänge in der grünen und wunderschönen Landschaft zu genießen. Obwohl wir an einem Morgen die Umgebung erkunden konnten, wollten wir sie unbedingt noch einmal genießen. Silvia und ihr Partner haben uns von unserer Ankunft bis zum letzten Tag sehr gut behandelt und waren jederzeit fürsorglich. Ich fand sie also sehr gute Gastgeber (sie gaben uns außerdem eine ganz besondere Flasche süßen, für Cómpeta typischen Wein).

Wir hatten einen herrlichen Aufenthalt in dieser hübschen Villa, die in jeder Hinsicht der Beschreibung entsprach und makellos sauber war. Die Terrasse und der Swimmingpool sowie alle vorhandenen Einrichtungen haben uns rundum zufrieden gestellt. Die Aussicht und die Ruhe sind außergewöhnlich, aber verdient, denn die Competa-Straße ist keine Autobahn! Silvia und Fran sind wunderbare und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die wir nicht vergessen werden, in ihr Zuhause zurückzukehren.

Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf Berge und Meer. Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Leider ist das Haus recht weit von Competa entfernt, ca. 15-20 Minuten Fahrt, je nach Wetter, Nebel und Regen. Von Competa sind es nochmal ca. 30 Minuten bis nach Nerja, Torrox etc. Der letzte Weg zum Haus besteht aus puren Felsen und ist sehr schwer zu befahren. Die Wohnung war leider sehr kalt und es hat fast 1,5 Tage gedauert, bis wir diese über die Klimaanlage aufheizen konnten.

Wir (mein Mann und ich) hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem Haus. Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen Umgebung mit toller Aussicht rundherum. Silvia begrüßte uns und zeigte uns persönlich das Haus. Er gab uns das Gefühl, sehr willkommen zu sein und wir hatten einen tollen Start! Außerdem gab es Wasser, Wein und etwas Obst für uns. Das Haus ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand und verfügt innen und außen über viele schöne Details. Und alles war sehr sauber. Es war wunderbar, draußen zu sitzen und die Aussicht zu genießen. Sehr entspannend. Während unseres Aufenthaltes stand uns der Eigentümer jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Er gab uns Empfehlungen zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und reservierte sogar einen Tisch für uns in einem Restaurant in Cómpeta. Cómpeta ist eine süße kleine Stadt und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Wir empfehlen dieses Haus auf jeden Fall weiter und würden gerne wieder hier übernachten. Silvia ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Sus ärboles de aguacates, olivos, su terraza amplia junto a la piscina y un rincon que se presta a actividades contemplativas la finca es realmente impresionantes con vistas al mediterraneo ., esta en la parte alta de la montaña y eso le otorga un lugar privilegiado. La cercania a Competa, la arquitectura de la Finca en comunion con la naturaleza, el estilo andaluz de la casa, sus techos altos, la decoracion esmerada, loa dormitorios amplias y hasta un incön de lectura . Han sido casi 3 semanas de pudo relax.

Silvia war hilfsbereit und lieferte nützliche Informationen. Es wehte ziemlich viel Wind, aber das Haus liegt auf einem Berg, also kann man damit rechnen. Wenn der Preis attraktiv bleibt, werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr erholsam und entspannend genossen. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch und jeden Abend gibt es einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Die Terrasse ist perfekt belichtet und bietet den ganzen Tag über Schatten. Die Terrasse mit Hängematte lädt zum Entspannen ein. Die Zimmer und die Inneneinrichtung des Hauses sind sehr angenehm und gut ausgestattet. Abends sind die Temperaturen kühler (sogar im August). Sie können die Fenster öffnen, um kühl zu bleiben, da alle Fenster mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet sind. Die Besitzer Sylvia und Francisco sind charmant und sehr gastfreundlich. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt mit unseren beiden Kindern absolut genossen. Danke an Sylvia und Francisco!

Die Finca ist wunderschön gelegen. Aus der Ferne kann man sogar das Meer betrachten. Absolute Ruhe ist garantiert. Alles was für eine Familie mit Kindern benötigt wird ist im Haus vorhanden. Stabiles Internet, Waschmaschine, Smart TV, etc. Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und alles war exzellent gereinigt. Der Pool ist für Kinder gut geeignet und angenehm groß. Wir hatten einen wirklich sehr schönen Urlaub und sind begeistert das wir sogar die Eigentümer kennenlernen durften. Wir haben so viel Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft nicht erwartet. Ich kann mich an dieser Stelle nur ausdrücklich für alles bedanken und die Finca uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
