La mer Ă  quelques pas dans un espace verdoyant

Immersion totale dans la nature. Il y a tout autour des bungalows de la verdure, des potagers et des animaux. Même les chambres sont dans cet esprit car notre salle de bain avait un mur vÊgÊtal. Le personnel est agrÊable. Petit dÊjeuner correct mais la cafÊ est 100 fois trop fort ! C'est avec ca qu'ils doivent faire dÊcoller les fusÊes ! Nous avions choisi une chambre avec vue sur mer. Pour nous cela a vraiment fait la diffÊrence, quelle plaisir de voir et d'entendre la mer à tout moment. Notre chambre Êtait la 212 et nous y Êtions très bien.

SÊjour parfait dans ce petit ressort. Transfert gratuit de l'aÊroport à l'hôtel (A/R). Bien accueilli. Cadre paradisiaque au bord de l'eau dans un environnement vÊgÊtalisÊ. Chambre impeccable. Restauration et service de qualitÊ, idem petit-dÊjeuner. Bon rapport qualitÊ-prix. Ne vous fiez pas à l'entrÊe du ressort qui ne paie pas de mine, construction en cours à l'entrÊe de l'hôtel d'un nouveau bâtiment pour future rÊception, restaurant et chambres (mais aucun bruit gênant). Vous ne serez pas dÊçu de votre sÊjour.

The breakfast buffet was nice and varied. The prices on dinner menu were a bit higher than average. The cabins on the beach are a bit pricier than the regular rooms but well worth the price! Incredible views! The bed was not comfortable, lumpy and very hard. The staff are very kind and courteous.

Amazing location right on the beach. We had a beach bungalow which was perfect. The hotel food seemed ok although the Con Dao chicken salad appeared to be mostly onion so not ideal for everyone. After being advised on check in that we could check out at 2pm ready for transport to airport at 3pm, we had a knock on the door at 12.45pm saying we were late! Still not entirely sure what we were supposed to do. Otherwise they have scooters for hire at the reception at a great price and the beach side grounds are lovely

First the pros. It's biggest asset is that it the only hotel right on the beach. And the beach is lovely. A fairly decent buffet breakfast is included at their restaurant right on the beach. The beach room where we stayed was a little run down but kept quite clean. The front desk staff was quite helpful and speak English. A big downside is obnoxiously loud live music on the beach outside the restaurant until 10:30 Friday and Saturday. So loud I put on my noise cancelling headphones and watched videos until the din stopped.

We were staying at Tan Son Nhat for little over a week and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely beautiful and the beach is stunning! We stayed in one of the bungalows with garden view and even if the room perhaps was a tiny bit run down it’s was very charming, spacious and there was really nothing that bothered us! Even with the garden view we were just a few steps away from the beach. Staff was always friendly and we felt very comfortable staying here with our son, 6 months. Would definitely come back!

Paid booking....but actually no booking

When we arrived the staff had no idea about our booking, after a long day of travelling this was more than a little bit annoying. After about 30 minutes and proving we actually had a paid reservation for a beachfront bungalow there was no such accommodation available. One lady at reception seemed perplexed as to why we hadn't booked on Agoda. I'm sorry if you offer your hotel on multiple 3rd party sites you should have the capacity to monitor and service them all. We got told that we would have to spend the night in a lesser room and we could move the next day. Having booked 9 months prior if we chose that room it would have been fine but we didn't. They didn't offer an explanation or any sort of remuneration for the error, not even a free beer at the bar. We did check the current rate for the rooms and we had paid substantially less than the going rate for the premier bungalow and all the other rooms but that's why you book early and take advantage of flash sales. We shouldn't have been disadvantaged for being organised. Next morning I went to reception and they seemed to have no record of us 'needing to move rooms' so I had to go through the whole thing again. It was awkard for them and awkard for us, we are not difficult customers we just want what we paid for. When we finally got our room it was excellent, as described and despite the rocky start we were happy. Due to the language barrier we are unsure where the problem occured.

Good place to relax and explore Con dao

We had a beach bungalow, which we highly recommend. You open the doors and step on a bounty beach with palm trees, amazing! However, rooms were rather outdated and windows and doors didn’t fully close, so lots of bugs in the room and some moult in the shower. Breakfast was good, definitely if you like Vietnamese breakfast. Rather early though, and in general a lot of noise till late (11pm) and early morning (from 6am). So little too to sleep. Bar and restaurant of the hotel have slow staff, don’t see you at all, not much inspiring food. Bar at the beach is really good though. All in all, we think the resort is located on the best beach of Con Dao (and cleaned from the loads of plastic you see elsewhere), you have a scenic place close to city Center and with the beach bungalows you’ll love this place.

Perfect location on the beach. We were in the garden bungalow as the beach bungalows were sold out. No problems - still less than a minute to the beach! Restaurant food is nice. Breakfast has so much choice (pho, dumplings, fruit, omelette/eggs, fried rice and also bread for toast / jam). They helped us rent scooters. The team were so friendly and kind. Thanks for a great stay!

A very good choice for your Con Dao stay

This is a completely acceptable resort to stay at and I would definitely stay there again. Most of the issues it has come from communication problems, honestly. The bed in my ocean view villa (worth the upgrade, do it!) was basically on the floor and I have moderate arthritis problems. After a miserable first night in the bed I asked for it to be raised (by putting another mattress, or 2 twin mattresses side by side underneath the king mattress) and I had to ask 3 times in the day for it to happen. It finally did and I had much better sleep for the rest of the trip, but why did I have to ask 3 times? I also asked for extra towels at one point and never got them. Little things like that can impact the enjoyment of a guest's stay and it really shouldn't be happening. My other complaint is that they don't have nearly enough seating on the beach. Some light metal lounge chairs that can be moved around by guests would be very much appreciated as they don't have a pool area to lounge in. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay in Con Dao. The hotel is situated a comfortable walking distance to town. The restaurant always had delicious food and a good breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable besides the super low bed. I would definitely stay here again.
