Great condo just steps from American Eagle and Flyer lifts. 2 master bedrooms
At 1200 sq. ft., Mountain Plaza 604 is a spacious condominium, right in the heart of Center Village, that Sleeps 10 people. This unit has the advantage of 2 Master Bedrooms and an additional Bath. One Master Bedroom is furnished with a 2 Double size beds and a Full Size Bath. The second Master Bedroom is furnished with 2 Queen Size Beds and a Full Size Bath. Within the Living Room, cozy up to the Wood Burning Fireplace, take advantage of the Free WiFi, watch the Direct TV on the Flatscreen TV/DVD player and dream away on the Queen Sofa Sleeper. This unit is about a 200 ft. walk to the new American Eagle Chondola lift in our village and therefore considered "Ski-in/Ski-out." This place was perfect for our annual ski trip. The 2min walk to the American Eagle lift was the best part when hauling all our ski and snowboard equipment back and forth or coming in for a quick lunch. The condo also had private lockers to store your ski/snowboard equipment in and it made keeping our condo less crowded. We will defiantly be back.
We very much enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for the skiers in the family and locker space was adequate for our needs. We also appreciated the large coat closet in the entry. The kitchen cabinets and dishwasher have seen better days, but those were not big issues for us. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We would stay again!
Excellent Copper Mountain Condo with Some Suggestions for Improvement
Overall, this Condo is great for Copper Mountain. The location is Perfect, only a very short 3-5 minute walk to American Eagle or American Flyer lifts. The kitchen is dated, including drawers that are a little unstable. The furniture, including all the beds, is great. The showers and baths are fine. The 3rd bathroom, a full bathroom, is a very useful inclusion. The Hot Tub is fine. The ski storage lockers were great. Overall, this condo is a good get.
Location was great but the place needs to updated. Furniture was worn out. The "leather" couches had wear marks right through the leather in several places. Toilets are really old, have the huge tanks on them, and the water ran consistently on 2 of the 3 - don't be cheap - replace the toilets. Parking was a pain, the parking garage only accommodates 6'7" so I had to either park miles away or removing my ski carrier to fit in the garage. The temperature in one of the bedrooms did not work with the thermostat - we used a fan to blow in heat from the living room. This property did not appear to be owned by an actual "Owner" but instead by a property company. This does not align with what I expect from VRBO. I'll return to Copper for skiing but I'll avoid this property in the future.
Our trip was way too short, but we did what we could. I used to own a time share, but sold it many years ago and found renting a place was much more cost effective. VRBO provides a great solution to finding a first class place to stay. We were in West Yellowstone in July and had a great time there with the family! We rented a large house on a lake that could sleep 15, so that accomodated our 10. This trip, it was just the boys, fishing in the Colorado river and other places. We love Colorado!
