In one word “Dump”I reserved two rooms .We arrived at5:45 had a quick look at the rooms .One room smelled mouldy, the bed spread looked like it hadn’t seen the inside of a washing machine, the bathtub had no glaze left on it , therefore every dirty foot that ever used the tub could almost be seen it was so dirty.The tile on the bathroom floor was old , broken and dingy .The second room didn’t smell as mouldy but all the rest was just the same .We left for supper to try convince each other we could tolerate it for one night but we couldn’t.We returned and dropped the keys off.When asked why we were leaving so soon .I told the man why we couldn’t stay ie the standard of the room was soo bad.He apologized profusely and asked what he could do? I suggested he return our money and as I expected he refused.I noticed a couple of hours later the notice on their add on Expedia no longer had the red writing stating there were no rooms available that night. my friends and I booked all our accommodation for our 10 day trip out east through Expedia this was the only disappointment.I don’t think Expedia should continue to advertise this place anymore.My advise is pay the extra and get a clean room at one of the larger chains when staying in Cornwall.

The motel rooms are mostly used by long-term residence and transients. The people in the room next to us appeared to be in long-term residence and the room on the other side was a guy who had recently been released from jail or a drug treatment program. He was staying there for three weeks. Appeared to be passed out in front of his room during the day became alive at 2am-4am with female visitors and loud sex through the paper than walls.

Good value for the money. I had NO issues with the room or my stay! Just what I wanted for an overnight road trip stop. This is a small, old motel that is being updated. There is a large, comfortable picnic area with tables. Each unit has outdoor seating thst several couples were using ehen I arrived (not fancy, 2 Adirondack chairs facing the parking lot). My room, 16, seems freshly done with a few minor imperfections. The bed was comfortable. The road / outside noise wasn't noticeable until later in the morning when a construction crew set to work.
