Disappointed and cannot recommend anyone stay here
Apartment is clean and nice, well appointed. Check in was easy, stay was going great until our second night when all power was lost, due to a blown fuse.
While the manager was responsive, they were not able to solve the problem until the next morning when they had their cleaning lady (who was very warm and helpful) come out to restore power.
I was shocked that they didn't know how to reset the fuse box. Unfortunately, the night without power affected the remainder of our trip. We had clothes in the washer that we needed for the morning, we couldn't research our hike for the next day as the internet did not work, and we had medication in refrigerator that needed to be thrown out as power was out for about 10 hours.
Losing power is one thing, but not being able to resolve it and not being willing to come until the next morning was unacceptable.
I asked the management company if they would be willing to discount the stay and they were not. So, I guess I will take it up with VRBO or my credit card company.
This is my first negative review of any VRBO we have stayed in. I understand the VRBO reviews are critical to the owner's success. But, not having power, not being able to restore it until the next morning, and not willing to work with us just isn't good enough.
