La Fattoria, a farmhouse in Cortona with a panoramic view of Lake Trasimeno

The farmhouse La Fattoria is one of the two farmhouses that are located within the Ginezzo agricultural-forest complex. A protected reserve of about 300 hectares of oaks, chestnut woods and heath habitats, in the mountains above Cortona (AR), between the Valdichiana, Lake Trasimeno and Valtiberina with the typical landscapes of Piero della Francesca: it is the barycentric point between Rome, Perugia, Siena and Florence.
Both cottages are in stone, with shared pool, surrounded by greenery, 15 km from Cortona.
In the estate it is forbidden to hunt and collect flowers (there are the last specimens of some flowers almost extinct) and it is crossed by Path 50 which leads from Passignano sul Trasimeno to Chiusi della Verna (Eremo di San Francesco).
Also walking or MB walking trails, Roman remains and stunning views, paths to the rediscovery of places and monuments of the MAEC, or those that lead to abandoned villages like Tornia or unforgettable eno-gastronomic itineraries.
The cottages, in line with our philosophy, are almost zero-impacted and in the near future we will only use renewable energy.
