THE SPACE:
-1st floor: 1 bedroom with a king size bed, private bathroom and patio.

-2nd floor: 2nd bedroom with a king size bed and private bathroom. Updated kitchen, dining space, large balcony, living room with a queen size sofa sleeper.

-3rd floor: Full size sleeper sofa and a twin size pullout bed with mattress toppers.

Great house in nice neighbourhood

The house was excellent and in nice neighbourhood. Travel to the Key Bailey convention center wasn't too bad, so this can be recommended to other business travellers too. Each of the bedroom has it's own bathroom, so two colleagues can stay in the house easily.

Luxury in the Bishop Arts District

This was a perfect place for our team to stay for a business conference. We felt safe and comfortable here, and feel like this is ideal for future conference housing. Highly recommend this place for all.

No Electric in Bedroom

When we arrived there was no electricity in our bedroom. No lights, no plug ins. I emailed the owner, but never heard back. There is a dorm room size refrigerator and no stove. 2 things I never imagined I’d have to look for when choosing a VRBO. If you plan on cooking, or charging your phone at night in your bedroom. Choose a different place to stay.

Bishop Arts townhome

Ok but not great. The unit itself is nice and in a great location in bishop arts. The layout is good, spacey and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture was great. There were quite a few things that made this just an ok rating. Despite asking for check in instructions after the final payment was being made and being told by the property manager they would be delivered a day before arrival, they were not. I had to reach out to VRBO and the property manger at 1030 pm the night before arrival to get instructions. It is tough to not know the night before an 11 hr drive to Dallas if you will be able to check in. The space was generally quiet with one big exception noted below. The unit itself needs updates and freshening. Numerous stains on the carpets and rugs. Numerous marks and scratches on the walls. The sheets on the bed appeared to be clean but did have stains on them and were not soft of comfortable. There were no hand towels in the property. The bath towels and wash clothes are approaching rag status. We brought our dogs with us and were disappointed that the only place to take them out was the front yard for the property in front of our building. That would have been fine except the tenants in that unit choose to not pick up their dogs poop and there were 20+ piles of feces in a very small area. The issue with noise referenced above was on New Year’s Eve and New Years night when there was about 10-15 minutes of gunfire very close to the unit as the neighbors celebrated. This was very disturbing and made it difficult to rest both nights. My friend ps in Dallas told me the next day this is common on New Year’s Eve in that area. I would not book here again for New Years. So overall this could be a good place to stay with a few improvements here and there but unfortunately on this trip it was just okay
