The staff is stellar. Breakfast is great. The physical feeling of the building is shabby. The fire pit didn't work . . . it looked destroyed. The patio cushions worn out. Pool door to patio was non-functional. Cracked tiles in elevator. Stains in hall carpeting. A slight stink in room . . . maybe, closed up too long . . . or previous smoker. Couches tattered and somewhat grubby. I see tremendous potential with attention to detail. It worked for a 4 day stay but rather lack-luster. It needs a remodel to meet typical Marriot standards that I enjoy. Room 503.

The only thing I had a problem with was when I asked the front desk girl several times about incidental fee she told me there wasn’t one. Now I know all my life of traveling there has not ever not been a incidental fee. But I could tell she was getting frustrated. So the next day I went downstairs to check out to ask way was I charged $400 on a stay that cost $357 and that girl told me incidental fees.
