Was not made aware that I would need to pay with a credit card until I arrived at the hotel. Front desk person was very rude and made me feel like I was not welcome without a credit card. I can fully pay my hotel bill every time and prefer to not have a credit card. Very disappointed in the service.

Staff at check in absolutely couldnt care about guests. Everything seemed a hassle and they just appeared pissed off being at work. The hotel is looking old and and worn and seriously needs a face lift. Then the room. Both tvs not working. Tried to call the reception and again they couldnt have cared less. Said someone would come up and nobody showed up. Both AC units in the room didnt work either. Lastly they were out of water. Yes, we were unable to purchase water. Only option was the sink and based on all of the above thats a hard pass. I have stayed at this hotel a few years ago and enjoyed my stay. It has seriously been run down and was a complete waste of money. Will never be back. Many other options available. The kicker to be honest was the staff and how they couldnt care less.

We checked in 3/9 @3pm , the two ladies working the front desk were awesome!!!! Helpful, friendly and informative. I was given the rundown in a timely fashion...breakfast, where the pool was, and let us know that the side entrances were down and we had to use front which was helpful because room key wouldve deactivated..we were given a very nice room at first, but it was a bit loud and we were looking for quiet. We went down to the front desk and expressed that we wanted a quieter room and the two ladies up front immediately relocated us to a much quieter room. We simply called the front desk and the ladies jumped into action. Our expectations were met when the two ladies went above and beyond to make sure our stay was quiet and comfortable. As i regret not getting their names, one lady is from Kansas and the othe lady had some really pretty nails, please let the ladies know we were most pleased with our quiet overnight stay withLa Quinta...thank you ladies....we got our rest..quietly thanks a million!!!!
