About the Property-
The University is your entertaining headquarters with over 4000 square feet of living space and more than ample parking (20 cars). This unique home sits on an acre of land right in West DesMoines/ Waukee area. Its location is pretty sweet, convenient to all the hot spots. Just a couple minutes to Hy-vee (large, beautiful grocery store), Jordan Creek mall and 6 other retail shopping centers, kid and teen fun spots like trampoline parks and entertainment arcade/restaurant complexes (SpareTime, Dave and Busters, and The Operating Room), Smash Park, several golf courses, a plethora of restaurants, pizza joints, and steakhouses that rock... pretty much anything you want!
The main floor is open concept and features an executive chef's kitchen set up for entertaining. All the gear you need for cooking as well as the gadgets and appliances are in house. It also boasts a 6-burner VIKING gas range. Also, there are 4 bedrooms and access to the 40' deck with hot tub. The deck and back yard have plenty of seating, a dining table for 6, a grill, the hot tub, additional seating, a fire pit, a 2-person swing and more! Bike paths connecting you to Des Moines extensive trail system are minutes away as well.
The lower level is set up for fun! Ping pong, pool table, NFL Blitz (4-player), Golden Tee (4-player), NBA Jams (4-player) and darts are all at your disposal. There is also a huge sectional couch that seats 12, a bar with bar stools, and 75" tv for your viewing pleasure. We also offer some of the best of board and card games, Jenga, a 4-foot tall Connect Four, and Giant Yatzy! Not to mention another full kitchen and bar! BONUS-I OWN AN APT COMPLEX 12 MINUTES AWAY- At the Four Seasons Apartments in Des Moines Iowa- THERE, YOU CAN USE THE INDOOR POOL in the winter , OUTDOOR POOL in the summer AND TWO-LEVEL CLUBHOUSE WITH GYM, SAUNA, ANOTHER POOL TABLE, ETC.. The last pictures posted for this property show the indoor pool and the pics following that are of the clubhouse adjoining the pool. This is at no additional charge and its just 12 minutes away! Open 9am to 9m daily.

I love to make people happy and that exactly what my properties are designed for. I'm a landlord by trade. I have apartment complexes and rental homes. Then ten years ago I created my first vacation rental property, and it grew from there. I offer vacation rentals because it's fun! Making sure groups are set up to have a blast is a challenge that I find very rewarding. I take this seriously. Being a big kid at heart, I make it my mission to deliver the fun for kids- also being one who appreciates nice things, I deliver comfort and attention to detail for the adults. I truly desire for you to have the most fun and relaxation as possible, and with the fewest hassles as well. That is why we put in so much effort before you get there. This property would be great for a large group. Unfortunately we were there for one night and found it very difficult to find. It's on a super busy street with traffic whizzing by 24/7 which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The address was impossible to find. There are some rocks out front along the street, but they were hidden by a car sitting on the front lawn with a 'for sale' sign on it. The busy street made it impossible to slow down and look for an address. We only were sure we had the right property when the code worked. We had to help our additional car find it by standing on the front lawn and waving our hands. I do think the super busy street should be mentioned in the post so those of us who need a bit of quiet won't rent this property. Again, it was clean and a great place for a large group to party in. Also the TV in the living room was an ancient one that couldn't connect with the internet without buffering a black screen for long enough we thought it was dead. The one downstairs worked great.

Perfect for my bachelorette party!!We were unaware that the pools would be so far away, a bummer on an 85 degree day in March, but the girls loved the hot tub.The downstairs was PERFECT for late night socializing and fun. It's a beautiful home with comfortable beds. Top that off with a full kitchen with a HUGE stove and cooktop. We felt safe and had so much fun. Thank you!

The house was great! The kids loved the basement and all the things to do down there. The fourth bedroom (which is a living room converted to a bedroom) made things a tricky with all the families. And only having 2 bathrooms for 16 people, as one of the bathrooms is tied to a bedroom was really hard. But the house overall was great! Clean, well stocked and the hot tub was a huge hit!

Plenty of space for our whole family to celebrate Christmas under one roof. The kids especially loved the hot tub and the basement full of games. House was clean and had everything you could possibly need. Loved the location (a little hard to find in the dark but no big deal!) We had cold snowy weather but the walkways ad driveway were nicely maintained. Would definitely stay again.

This property was awesome for our family Christmas get-together. There were 23 of us, 19 sleeping there for 2 nights! There was plenty of room for the kids to have their own space, and for the adults to have theirs. So many fun things to do! It was clean. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and pans. The place was perfect for our larger group of friends to have a reunion at. Matched the pictures and had plenty to keep us entertained for the weekend. Great place to stay!

We arrived and easily checked in with the given code. House was clean and smelled great! Bathrooms were well stocked with toilet paper, towels/washcloths, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Each bathroom also had extra items such as ear cleaners, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Plenty of dishes and cooking items! Loved all the bedroom/sleeping space! We had 11 plus 3 toddlers. We brought a pack ‘n play. Basement is chilly, but lots of fun activities! We played pool, ping pong, arcade games, darts, and used the large ottomans for card games. We enjoyed the grill and hot tub with a large deck area. We stayed Monday through Saturday and enjoyed the ease of getting to the State Fair, Adventureland Park, and local stores & restaurants. Huge bonus having two sets washer and dryer in basement! Colby texted back the code for that locked area immediately.

Great overnight for our team during a 2-day Camp

There was a lot of room to spread out. Three bathrooms was a big bonus. Had a great space in the living room for our team meeting, and everyone liked hanging out together in the spacious basement. Enjoyed breakfast all together, with plenty of seating. Nice to have Hy-Vee nearby to grab breakfast food.
