The John Day Motel
"The John Day Motel doesn’t pretend to be anything more than it is: a friendly, reasonably priced place to stay staffed by very nice people. It’s an older facility but well kept. After a long day of driving we were in need of a good shower and a comfortable bed - we found both at the John Day Motel! Little things like the bottles of water and snack basket in the room along with ear plugs if it got too noisy (it didn’t!) just added to the charm of the place. It’s also a short walk to several restaurants and other shops. We will definitely stay here again when our travels take us to that area. Only 13 rooms so making a reservation is probably a good idea!"
