Hotel Turia Valencia
"Good Location and Excellent Breakfast, but Check the Bed Size We would rate this hotel 4 out of 5, with the breakfast buffet being a real highlight. Important note about the beds: Hotels.com lists the double room as having a king-size bed, but this is incorrect. The bed is actually a queen. We booked this hotel specifically because we wanted a king-size bed, so this was disappointing. We contacted Hotels.com to report the error and hope they update their website. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t accommodate our request to switch to a room with twin beds. This was disappointing, but not the hotel’s fault. If you require a king-size bed, I recommend confirming the bed size directly with the hotel before booking. Pros: * Amazing breakfast buffet with a huge selection. Ours was included in the room rate and was definitely a highlight of our stay. * Spacious rooms. * Bathroom with a bathtub. * Good location, close to shopping, restaurants and the beautiful Turia Gardens, which stretch for approximately 9 km through the city. * About a 20-minute walk to the Old Town. Cons: * Rooms are a little dated. * No king-size beds, despite the room sizes being large enough to accommodate them. * The hotel feels older overall, and in our opinion, it doesn’t quite meet the standard we would expect from a four-star property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, particularly the excellent breakfast and convenient location."
