Find a cheap Hotel in Downtown Puerto Vallarta

"The food at the buffet was good, but the other restaurants were not great. My room had an overwhelming smell of mildew and all of my clothes and luggage smelled like it when I got home. I have not been able to get the smell out."

"We were very pleased with this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, rooftop pool was great with no trouble getting chairs, the room was spacious and had an amazing beach view directly facing the sunset each night, and the location was perfect. Away from the craziness but only 5-10 min walk to the Malecon, great restaurants in the area, convenience stores, restaurants, and a grocery store all within a couple blocks, and a short Uber ride to anything else in PV (including a $10 ride from the airport). I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Our stay at the Loft was exactly what we expected in terms of location—very close to the Malecón and an easy, beautiful walk to the Romantic Zone. The staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The loft itself was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Breakfast was made to order each morning (scrambled eggs and toast), and we especially appreciated the freshly squeezed orange juice. The only issue we encountered was with our booking through Expedia. The listing indicated that airport shuttle service was included, but when we inquired at the property about arranging our return transfer, we were told this was not the case. As a result, we took a taxi back to the airport and unfortunately were significantly overcharged—our only negative transportation experience during an otherwise fantastic three-week trip, where all other drivers had been excellent. Overall, a great stay, but we would recommend confirming transportation details in advance if booking through a third party."

"This was our third time staying at Los Arcos. The location is PRIME, the food is good, & the staff is very accommodating. The pools were not as crowded this time of year as we were in between Spring breaks. Our room was always cleaned, though we did have to ask for towels a few times. The location is right smack dab in the Romantic Zone and the perfect tacos are but a few steps away. We love this place & always find new friends hanging out at the pool! And as crazy as it seems, they are either from my hometown of Bakersfield or my new home of Boise!!! It definitely is a small world!!"
