This was more of a motel feel, with parking outside of the rooms. It was a fair price for the outdated establishment. Clean and comfortable, which is all we needed.

This property is a very old, but somewhat refurbished "Motor Hotel". Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, but the bathroom situation was oddly laid out. There was a door to the bathroom area, but it made it very hard to use the clothing rods and suitcase stand. The sink and vanity were separate from the tub and toilet. It would have been easier if the door were on the tub room instead of the sink room. We were a bit disappointed in our check-in, the person we interacted with seemed confused as to our reservation and it required intervention from someone else, then she said rather sadly, "oh it's Expedia" We have never had that reaction in the many years we have used the service. This is a property that is good for a night enroute; it is conveniently located near sites and dining, but it would be less comfortable as a base for multiple nights.

For the price, the property was great. The room was clean, but the sink plunger didn't work, and the toilet handle felt like it was about to break. We did report this to the front desk, but the guy there on the morning of 09/28/25, didn't seemed to be concerned. He did state he would have it looked at, but the way he said it, didn't give me the feeling he would. The bar was great, and entertainment was an awesome plus. Everyone was very friendly in the bar and the check in staff lady was very nice also. We would stay again.

Our room smelled like stale smoke and a heavy base noise from the band was heard throughout the evening until the band stopped playing at 10:00 PM. Also, the bathtub took a long time to drain after taking a shower. I wondered if the property was safe or not for our vehicle. They did however have a nice continental breakfast.

Value lodging in process of upgrading

Building is a work in progress. Very nice bedding and towels. Beds extremely firm but did get a good night's sleep. However, the tub had bulging tile, a leaky faucet and a drain plug that had no lifter, resulting in 3-4 inches of water in the tub when I got up. It drained fine when I removed the plug and plenty of hot water when I took a shower, though. The breakfast was cold except for toastable bread items, but they had a good variety and even peeled perfectly hard boiled eggs, safely displayed in a bowl on ice, so maybe a bit above average for "continental", which is all they claimed to have. Met the owner on checkout. Sounds like they have already upgraded the tubs in some rooms and might well move the room we used up the list with the report of bad tile and faucet. Would stay again.

The rooms were dirty and unhealthy, also when the cleaning service was cleaning towels the water was draining down drains that went to the river and not sanitary sewer. Stair wells dirty and not kept clean. Went to grab some eggs in the morning and the bowl was empty asked about eggs and was told no more when I looked at the lady she finally went back to grab some more eggs. I have stayed at this inn before and didn’t notice any of these issues before.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed. The property is older and that comes with wear and tear, but it was clean. My first room had an awful odor but when I talked to the front desk they were very accommodating and got me a different room.
