Unfortunately I have to give a poor rating even though there were great things about our stay like the pleasant check-in, friendly staff, fun bar, and great brunch. So why the poor rating? When we turned down our bedding for the night, there was a drizzle of what looked like diarrhea down the sheet. I immediately called the front desk and they moved us to another room but we had to pack up all of our stuff at midnight and move which was terribly inconvenient. A housekeeping slip like this is simply unacceptable. It wasn’t a small “mark” that could maybe be overlooked. It was at least twelve inches long and took up quite a bit of surface space.

The best hotel stay I’ve ever had. Beautiful and quiet lobby, lots of settings and areas to sit, very polite staff all around, and clean, comfortable, room with an amazing view of the Mississippi River. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who likes a clean, pleasant and wonderful hotel stay!

The room smelled like onion and was coming from the fridge- it was empty. Couldn’t put my food and drinks in there. The heat venting in the room was loud rattling metal. The checkin lady was unfriendly. No sleep as semis j braking, multiple trains going by. People stomping in the room above me.

The pool walk area was not swept in a few days, per another guest since there was a big glob of hair right in the main walkway for a few days. Lots of things floating in the hottub…Disturbing when the jets weren’t on. The Expedia website said free shuttles, but that’s not true. They haven’t had that since 2020 the check in rep said. So, I ended up paying for a Lyft to and from the hotel.

The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, complete with convenient parking. Hotel restaurant is excellent. Spa experience was positive.
