Beds were very uncomfortable. Internet wasnt the greatest. Pictures online did not match what we stayed at. Conference center was run down. Not many good restaurants near by. Lots of beaches close by. Staff was very friendly, they made the trip worth it. Pool was nice but a little green. Probably wouldnt stay there again just because the beds were so uncomfortable we were exhausted every day.

In general it was nice for an over night. I found that the grounds around our room had litter that’s never been pick up by the grounds keeper, ( if there is any such person), and the noise from young adults partying kept us up half way through the night. Had to turn on the air conditioner/fan to drown out the noise. Besides the Motel living atmosphere the Motel pool was very nice to relax after the beach and sit with a morning coffee and juice for the kids. One quick note: For the bathrooms; I would suggest tile flooring instead of laminated wood simulation. I can only imagine the mold underneath. After changing wet clothes and taking showers the floor definitely gets saturated.

If I have to make a complaint regarding my stay, the only issue was the water pressure was too low. Took double the time to shower. I’m sure it’s something they cannot control. Otherwise, the place was fine for its purpose. Very clean room and quiet. Pool was nice. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

I’ve traveled here for 40 years and my family for more than that and never experienced what I experienced here at this hotel on the cape. The hotel seemed fine at first we only were there at night as we were out sight seeing all day only being there to sleep. We left all of our luggage brand new clothes we recently bought in the hotel room. We woke up one morning to an infestation of ants all over our things. They were coming in and out of the base boards. All over the floors. We also saw cobwebs in corners with eggs and spiders. We also had a clog in our tub. We tried to speak to someone at check out as no one was there when we got back from be out all day. Tracy was really nice about it and called the general manager Sheila and she was extremely confrontational and belligerent. Told us it was our fault. When they were coming out of the base boards. Top it off we are standing the lobby and the same thing was happening in the lobby bugs crawling out of the baseboards, cobwebs and eggs. Horrible hotel horrible customer service with the general manager. Will never stay here again and will be calling the health department.

Upon arrival staff was rude about checking in. We did arrive early but as any other place I have been to they say “the room is not available at this time,” instead she rudely spoke down to us that we were Expedia customers and that next time we wait until the actual time. Then walking into the room, there were dead bugs on the ac, dirt and bugs on the floor, and ants running around. This was the absolute worst and most disgusting experience and I would NOT recommend. Would rather sleep on route 6 in a box.

Stayed here with my brother and his wife for the weekend. The room itself was beautiful, the hardwood looking flooring was really impressive, the room was pretty big. Yhe shower however was low pressure, so it took longer to get shampoo out, the fan in the bathroom was loud and sounded like a food disposal, the ac needs to be updated, it took forever to make the room cold at night. The beds thenselves were comfortable, mine was atleast my brother and his wife said it felt oike there was a bar under the mattress. I scraped my feet and knees in the pool, its not tile, its rock and very uncomfortable. I do like that it wasnt ontop of ths main road, it was quiet. Mixed review,i know but the place had its ups and downs. Probably wouldnt stay there again with what i paid, or for more than one night,but it wasnt horrible.

We had a glorious week here!! Was a wonderful stay!!! Very clean and quiet! Our room faced the woods! Super close to a lot of restaurants and shops etc! Highly recommend Captains Quarters!!
