The bonus room is a kids space that is accessible by a ladder. It is to be used at your own risk if you choose to access it.
Great cottage! In a neighborhood of about a dozen houses with access to Town Cove. Not big, but very well equipped and great outdoor space with lingers, sofa, fire pit, grill and more. Morning and evening visits from a family of 5-6 bunnies - who knew?
This was a waste of money. To begin with, the listing said beach access, so I spent more than I intended, thinking I could easily walk to water. There is NO beach access near this house. It was blatant false advertising, and the photos on the site were angled to look like a beach was nearby. There is no beach! I have some mobility issues and instead of a short walk, I ended up on town beaches where I had to walk a lot. This lie ruined my vacation. Also, there is a significant safety issue. There is a loft with ladder access. It has twin beds and beanbag chairs. When I arrived, the cleaners had left the AC on in the loft. It was loud so I climbed up to turn it off and when I started to come down, the ladder fell. I was stuck up there for an hour. Eventually I dropped down the mattresses and the beanbag chairs and climbed down that way. THIS WAS NOT SAFE. I'm sure whoever answers this will say the photos on the VRBO site said to use the ladder at your own risk. But why would you install a ladder that could fall off in the first poace? Not safe.A bad experience. The phrase "beach access" should be removed from this description. And please secure the ladder so no one is hurt.
