Fabulous view and perfect rental

We love a sure thing. It was immaculate. Very very well kept. Beautiful location on the Eau Claire River. Reasonable rates. We are thrilled and very much recommend. The layout was just right for four sisters and two nephews. All adults with plenty of room to stretch out. The two nephews took kayaks out. Lots of wildlife to see from the beautiful picture Windows. Well stocked kitchen. Did not anything else!!

Holiday Visit

A Shore Thing was a great getaway for our family during the holiday season. Jaci made sure we had holiday decorations and a warm cozy welcome. We were able to spend time with family and friends as it was close enough to downtown Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. The view was beautiful and the house was clean and perfect for our family of 5. The house was stocked and ready for us to enjoy. We had a wonderful time in the area and can't wait to go back! We will be recommending A Shore Thing to our friends for sure!

Loved our stay!

Such a great weekend! We cannot say enough about A Shore Thing. It was even better than advertised!. We were more than pleased with and impressed by the house and the location. It was squeaky clean with a wonderful floor plan for our big group. There was plenty of space for sleeping and for hanging out. The location could not have been more picturesque with the water in the back and the beautiful woods in front. Our host, Jaci, was so easy to work with and very accommodating. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Perfect location for our annual girls trip, beautiful views, quiet, peaceful. House was really clean & had everything you needed. Perfect sandy beach for playing in the sand or just laying out & enjoying the weather. Couldn’t have ask for a better girls trip!

We loved it. Fishing was good right from the beach. The kayaks were fun and the river is not too deep. The house is spectacular and very comfortable! Close location to a tavern for a burger if you don't want to cook.

Wonderful place on the river

The place was immaculate, spacious enough for our family of 5 (all adults) and the view of the river was beautiful! Everyone enjoyed fishing, boating, paddle boarding and kayaking! Plus lots of fun things to do in the area. I’d highly recommend this place!

Amazing Getaway

We came up with our dog to hike and bike. Jaci was spot on with her recommendations for dog friendly trails and activities. The house is amazing so we made sure we were home in the evenings to enjoy the quiet and beautiful view. We loved it and so did our dog. We'll be back soon!

Fabulous view of the lake! We really enjoyed our stay and loved the gorgeous water views from the family room areas, kitchen, and dining area. Loved the open floor plan and all the different bedroom spaces. This house was the perfect set up for our multi family group. We all agreed that we would definitely book and stay again.

We were in town for our grandson’s confirmation. Our family came out to the house to have lunch with us after the confirmation ceremony We sat on the deck. The house was perfect! Beautiful yard. Everything was as described. The house was clean. Easy check in process.

Nice family get together spot, great property managment.

Visiting relatives for the holidays and most of my direct family was there so instead of booking multiple hotel rooms we stayed here. The property has been updated, has a nice kitchen, good bathrooms and lots of gathering spots. Enough room for more family to spend a some time before heading off to bigger gatherings. Being December in Wisconsin, even without the snow, we weren't able to use the outside much so will need to come back so we can explore the river. The location is quiet and hidden but still only a few miles for most places we were going to. The property management was great. They made sure we could find the place and had it ready for us to use. It was decorated nicely for the holidays which made the space very inviting.
