"My husband and I spent a week at mermaids retreat and absolutely loved it! We took full advantage of the kayaks and went out on the bay multiple times. Beach access was easy to find and not far away at all. The space was perfect for two of us and it was well stocked with all the things you need from coffee to beach chairs. Would stay again! "

"We had a terrific stay here!! The manager, Yvette was fantastic. So kind, helpful, and responsive. Great house with thoughtful amenities to make guests comfortable, including filters for finding shark teeth at the beach, wagons and umbrellas for the beach, first aid kits in the house, and plenty of towels. The couch was big and SO comfortable! Beds were also great including one with a fantastic, firm mattress that was great for a couple of us with sore backs. Loved the decor, large living room and bedrooms with lots of closet space. Close to the Gulf, with nice quiet beach good for shelling. Found lots of conch shells in the evening in June. Beautiful sunsets with dolphins. Great place to stay, and if we come back to the area we would definitely stay there again!"

"The property was clean and well-equipped. The pool was excellent, my kids love it. My favorite part was the waterfront view and the deck. I love to watch the sunset, and this property had the perfect view. I enjoyed it with a glass of wine. The Owner was friendly, making the experience even better. We will be going back here.
