"Always enjoy my stay at the Chequers in, stay around 6 or 7 nights a year. Food is good, breakfast made to order and fresh. beer. Rooms are functional but always spotless. Service is friendly. Grand little place, bar / kitchen with accomadation. Sure to be staying again."

"A lovely traditional hotel. The food is fantastic especially the breakfast. The staff are all very helpful and attentive. I love the atmospher of an old house with all wood pannelling. It also has a gym, which while it could do with updating it does the job. Happy to stay here anytime. "

"This was stop number eight for my daughter and I as we travel around the globe. Wanted to see and experience the English countryside, and Evesham was the perfect location for doing that with it's proximity to train and bus connections and the beautiful Cotswolds. Any questions or concerns we had were always answered immediately. Great communication with the Host. The accommodation was very clean and immaculate., lovely, very comfortable and spacious. Really enjoyed being there. Wifi worked. Beds were comfy and clean. The shower had plenty of hot water and the water pressure remained strong and constant. Perfect accommodation for short term stays. We were there for almost four weeks and found that there are things that could be improved for longer stays. The fridge was tiny. Tiny. There were no large bowls for holding fruit or soup. For a four week stay, I had to ask for the bedding and towels to be changed, and they were changed only once as there is no washer in the premises and no laundromat in the town. Luckily I made friends with a local lady who washed my bedding and towels. For a fee, the Host would have done it weekly but I thought that was not proper. Again, for a long stay we were provided with the tiniest bottle of dishwashing liquid I've ever seen. A shelf in the bathroom to hold toiletries and cosmetics would have been nice. But apart from all that, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a short stay."

"On arrival the key safe wouldn't open the owner came and let us in on looking round the cleanliness was not up to standard dirty t stained mugs, inside fridge dirty and rusty,and the bed sheets hadn't been ironed just thrown on got the owner round and informed her of the problems and we left . Still waiting for refund she agreed to."
