My fiance and I were wowed in the Wow Room, Lovely, spacious, nice balcony, quiet, which overlooked a back courtyard, instagramable. 4 short stops on the T2 Tram from the Central Station, a 25 min to the Duomo and surrounding center area. The continental breakfast was decent, no cooked to order options and most of all the manager and staff were thee nicest, they went out of their way to make our stay in Florence most memorable.

We loved the breakfast and unlimited coffees;) the vibe of the hotel was amazing! Very nice and clean rooms. My only 2 wishes are: shower cap (there was none) and warmer temperature in the shower (I love my shower hot). Overall fantastic hotel, and we will definitely stay there next time we are in Florence.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Ruby Bea in Florence Italy! This hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from the train. Our room (the Wow) was spacious and clean. The whole hotel is tastefully appointed. We were greeted with a quick orientation, smiles and espressos, such a welcoming touch. Highly recommend! We chose this hotel based on reading other recommendations on Expedia. Thank you!

Overall we like this hotel. - Fantastic staff. Marco and Diego. We felt quite welcomed to this hotel. - New and clean rooms and facilities. - Easy to go around by T2. However, the buses (e.g. C1) are not punctual at all.

It was perfect. Great location. Spacious and very clean room. Excellent service from all staff members. Within walking distance to Ponte Vecchio, shops, Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. Lots of thanks to Frederico, Diego, Ida and Carolina. We had a fabulous dinner at Trattoria Tito and other nearby restaurants under 7mins walk from Ruby Bea. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again. Excellent English skills plus willing to assist like booking a cab, holding our packages and available to answer our questions. Thank you all for an awesome time.

Superb and above expectations

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room is clean, AC works perfect, soundproofing is wonderful. It's a kind of a self service hotel for the other stuff (i.e. no room service, no laundry service.. etc) but the staff at the front desk and bar are super friendly and fun! And hanging out by the bar feels just like home, plus it's open 24/7.

The property is beautiful, elegant, classy, CLEAN, and the STAFF was amazing! THE BED WAS DIVINE!! Easy rest after a full day in Florence. Shopping at City Center was an easy 20min walk but there's plenty transportation right outside the door that'll take you pretty much anywhere you want to go. The Ruby Bea was home for 5 days and I can't wait to go back.

Staff at Ruby Bea Hotel were all amazing. Facilities were really clean and modern. The hotel is away from attractions but is near a lot of bus stops and the tram. They also offer free luggage storage. We were able to further explore Florence after checkout without having to carry around our luggage. Only downside for me, was the breakfast. You have to pay for breakfast and all the breakfast items were cold options (cereal, yogurt, fruit) no hot breakfast items like eggs etc.

We did not get a quiet room, which we had asked for. So we were moved to another room. It was smaller but the hotel would not reduce our rate. When we asked to at least have the breakfast comped they refused. That room then shorted out our hairdryer at a loss of $200. No one at the hotel could then fix our plugs, they all stopped working, we had no way to use accessories or charge our devices, so we had to move to another room. That room had no hot water for showers (discovered after we both had to take cold showers) and we were then told the entire hotel's water heater system was on the fritz. My girlfriend had a migraine, the bar menu was very limited, she wanted a snack, but all 3 floor galleys where they had snacks were out of order. We left a day early. To the hotel's credit, they refunded our last night that we had paid for but didn't stay. .
