"What an incredible home! The coziness of the fireplaces, the history, the decorating! You can walk all through the home and find amazing knick-knacks and collections of all sorts. Our goal was to do nothing but relax and the mission was accomplished. We loved that the holiday lights were still up. It was made even more magical with a significant snowfall during our stay. "This is an exceptional cottage with lovely views of the lake. It's just a few minutes drive to Westport which has interesting shops and a good grocery store. The owner was so cooperative and easy to deal with that I have booked a time in June and can't wait to get back to this wonderful cottage. The only caution is that there are stairs to get to the lake which should be considered for someone with mobility issues. "
