In the 1830s, this unique site housed a wheelwrightâs workshop, a post office, and a bakery. Though modest in size, the studio offers a tastefully furnished retreat, perfect for couples seeking a cosy base for their holiday. Within the same grounds are Walnut Tree Cottage (ref 30424) and The Hideaway (UKC540), making it an excellent choice for friends or couples wishing to holiday together while enjoying their own private space.

Very sweet little cottage, ingeniously fitted with everything we needed for a short stay. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and look round the grounds, seeing the other cottages.
The only drawback with the Old Post Office is its nearness to the main road: in hot weather one might want to open the windows for air - but then the noise also.
