Bright one bedroom apartment in Mediterranean style, with high ceilings, fully furnished and renovated with terrace level sheltered by a roof, habitable and most panoramic. The apartment is on the first floor in a private park a few steps from the Chiaia beach, the tourist port, the hydrofoils and the center. The apartment overlooks the lush condominium garden with a large swimming pool and sun loungers and tables.
The large double room has a balcony that overlooks the terrace, 3 comfortable chests of drawers, built-in wardrobe and bedside tables, a small TV.
The living room has a three-seater sofa that easily turns into 2 single beds, a pouf that can also be opened into a bed, a living room furniture and a television. The dining table for 6 can also be placed on the terrace, where there are also several deckchairs and a small table.
The kitchen is open-plan, small but functional, equipped with a large fridge-freezer, oven and brand new cooking stove; it is equipped with everything you need to cook like at home!
The bathroom is blind but large, with a nice shower cabin and complete with all the bathroom fixtures, soaps and towels.
The pool is condominium and seasonal; it is generally in operation from June to the end of September while the garden is always usable.
WIFI is available in the lobby of the building.

Relaxed holidays

The appartement is charming and very well equipped with all you need, even coffee and sugar were there! We specially enjoyed the huge garden downstairs and the big balcony. The appartment is in a very quiet area a bit uphill, but very near to walk to beach, village and port of Forio. The owner took good care of us and was a great host! We had a very relaxed and pleasant stay. The only negative thing is when it rains heavily, the roof is leaking and within very short time the balcony gets flooded... I would nevertheless recommend the appartment 100%, it's a great place!

Nice apartment, fantastic location, beautiful pool

Stayed in this nice apartment for two weeks mid June. Two children 7, 10 years and two adults and it suited perfectly. All you need is available in addition to wifi that you can use only on the arrival area. The pool area is wonderful and wonderfully managed by Franco. Walking distance to the beach and Forio makes this place unique and definitely something I will recommend. Will definitely return hopefully soon. One tip is that you can go out to town even from the back of the residential building as well. Closer to shopping for groceries. Ask Franco if you can not find this secret door. Marilena responded quickly to all our questions and was a perfect host. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful apartment in perfect location

What a wonderful vacation did we have in Marilena's apartment! The apartment is nicely decorated and has a great view over the garden and the pool and the sea. We were surprised by the high quality of the kitchen utensils, there was everything we needed to cook at home and in very good condition. The apartment is located in the 1st floor of a condominium of about 50 apartments. We lived in the apartment for the last three weeks of June and for the first week we were just about the only people in the building apart from the very nice housekeeper Franco. The building is called Parco Santa Caterina and is located at the end of the street, some 300 meters up from the main road which runs by the sea. It seems the apartments are mainly vacation apartments, perhaps owned mainly by people living in Naples region. During the weekends there was more people around. We were the only non-Italian family around, but everyone was very friendly to us. The location is about the best you can get. Just 5 minutes down the road and you are on the best beach of Ischia. It is a large free beach with perfect sand and it is shallow and warm for kids. There are also wave breakers so there is hardly any waves. We loved that there are crystal white sandy dunes under the sea when you swim out from the wave breakers. It is also very convenient to walk to the city, just 10-15 minutes along the seaside main road. For grocery shopping it was very easy to go through the back gate where you can get to Monterone township. There is a Dok supermarket and (a better) Deco in just 300-400 meters. Some uphill is to be expected, but nothing bad. In the apartment the double bed is wide, but the mattress is not very thick so be prepared for a hard bed. Naturally air conditioning would also be nice, but there are fans. Wifi coverage is a real problem. There is no wifi in the apartment and we brought a WiTourist wifi box with us. It works with Wind operator. Unfortunately the coverage for Wind (and Vodafone and Tim) was very poor in the apartment. For some reason our wifi box seemed to work up to around 9 pm, but after that we were not able to get any 3G or 4G. Most likely the cell towers facing the apartment did get crowded. The coverage was good when we moved the box out to the garden so that the building does not block it, but then we were not able to get Wifi signal strong enough into the apartment. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back! Thank you so much Marilena!

Oh wie schön ist Forio...

Sehr schöne Anlage mit einem tollen Swimmingpool. Die Wohnung ist schön und angenehm groß.Die Ausstattung war gut, hätte aber etwas moderner sein können (z.B. Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle) . Insgesamt ein wirklich wunderbarer Ort und wir konnten alles zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus erreichen.

Wir waren Ende März/ anfangs April dort. Vieles war auf der Insel noch geschlossen, incl. Thermen. Da das Wetter kühl war, war anfangs Saison auch das Haus noch kühl und unbelebt. Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer entsprechen dem Inserat; Küche und Bad hingegen sind sanierungsbedürftig. Kontakt mit Vermieterin (Filomena) freundlich und hilfsbereits.

Super ausgestattetes Apt. in Forio

Alles war einfach nur Klasse. Suchen, buchen und bezahlen ging wirklich völlig problemlos. Bereits vor unserer Ankunft hatte ich Kontakt mit der Vermieterin und auch mit Filomena. Sie kümmert sich vor Ort um die Wohnung, damit ankommende Gäste sich sofort wohlfühlen. Das Apt. war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. In der Küche war alles vorhanden was man für einen unbeschwerten Aufenthalt benötigt. Das Apt. ist Teil einer großen Wohnanlage, die mit einem schönen Garten und einem großen Außenpool glänzt. Der Pool ist aber nicht geheizt.... Die Ferienanlage ist vom Hafen Forio aus zu Fuß schnell erreicht. Läden und Restaurants sind auch nicht weit weg. Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt.

Negativ: Die Toilette ist sehr nah an der Dusche = für große Personen etwas schwierig. Das Bad ist schon etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Neutral: Herd wird mit Gas betrieben. Das hat etwas gerochen. Positiv: Aber technisch hat alles funktioniert. In 10 min ist man zu Fuß im historischen Zentrum von Forio. Es ist sehr ruhig am Ende einer Privatstraße gelegen. Wir haben es nur zum Übernachtung und Duschen genutzt.

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia 9 giorni al Parco S. Caterina con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ho trovato al mio arrivo una casa comoda e accogliente in una posizione strategica anche senza mezzi propri di trasporto rimane molto comoda per soggiorni brevi o lunghi, è a due passi dalla spiaggia della Chiaia una delle più belle e sabbiose, sono rimasta molto contenta del tempo trascorso in questo Residence con una bellissima terrazza con vista su piscina e mare e ho trovato una padrona di casa sempre disponibile a ogni mia esigenza in qualunque orario. Abbiamo trascorso una piacevolissima vacanza , il parco dove è situata la casa è davvero fantastico per i bambini che hanno giocato sul prato e nella piscina divertendosi un mondo. Il contesto è signorile, molto tranquillo e silenzioso, vicinissimo alla spiaggia e al centro di Forio. L'appartamento è comodo e ben equipaggiato. Mooie locatie, erg rustig en op slechts enkele minuten lopen van het centrum.

Deze locatie, voorzien van een mooi zwembad is rustig gelegen. Het appartement is compleet ingericht. Op slechts enkele minuten lopen van het centrum. Met openbaar vervoer zijn alle bezienswaardigheden op het eiland goed te bereiken.

Well positioned property in beautiful grounds

The flat is lovely, and very well equipped, including a washing machine, and fridge freezer. The shared pool and the garden are both well maintained and very large. Situated in Forio, it is close to the town, but in a quiet street with beautiful sea views. Our host was always available by phone /text if we needed any help. On the down side there is no wifi, and the apartment would benefit from a printed help guide to using the equipment and where things are situated within the flat. Overall lovely and would happily return.

Abbiamo passato 5 giorni in questo appartamento. L'appartamento è molto bello pulito ed accogliente. Ha una posizione ideale. Si trova vicino al centro di Forio, vicinissimo alla spiaggia e fermata di autobus e nello stesso tempo è lontano dal ghiasso e rumori della citta. I proprietari sono due persone gentili ed erano sempre pronti ad aiutare. Consigliatissimo!!!

Tutto perfetto

Abbiamo passato 5 giorni in questo appartamento . L' appatramento e' molto bello , pulito e accogliente. La sua posizione e' ideale perche si trova vicino al centro di Forio vicinissimo alla spiaggia e fermata di autobus ma è nello stesso tempo è lontano dal ghiasso e rumori della citta'. I proprietari sono due persone molto gentili ed erano sempre pronti ad aiutare.

Nonostante la tranquillità mi sono trovata molto bene, innanzi tutto con la proprietaria che molto gentile e cordiale ci ha accompagnato all abitazione ed è stata nonostante la lontananza sempre presente, la casa molto bella e vicina alla spiaggia, forse L unica pecca è la salita che porta all abitazione, ma dopotutto è un modo efficace per smaltire😘

weekend del 2 giugno

Ottima vacanza presso la casa del Parco S.Caterina.....casetta accogliente e luminosa, con tutto Il necessario per un weekend rilassante e anche interessante....grazie alla posizione che CI ha consentito di raggiungere in poco tempo ( con l'auto che SI parcheggia tranquillamente all'interno del Parco) ogni luogo panoramico e suggestivo dell'isola d'Ischia!!!

Appartamento comodo ed a portata di tutto

Siamo stati ad Ischia per un matrimonio ed abbiamo approfittato dell'occasione per farci un week and di mare su un'isola splendida e che non conoscevamo. Abbiamo così prenotato e soggiornato in 4 a Forio nella Casetta Azzurra. L'appartamento è molto confortevole e rispecchia quanto mostrato nelle foto, il bagno è ben accessoriato anche se un po' sacrificato. Il contesto intorno è piacevolissimo: un parco con piscina (che purtroppo era vuota essendo fuori stagione). Per arrivare all'appartamento si percorre una strada privata che parte dal lungomare di Forio, a pochi metri dal centro del paese. Tutto è raggiungibile comodamente a piedi. Marilena è stata una padrona di casa premurosa ed attenta ed i consigli che ci ha dato su locali e ristoranti, ci hanno pienamente soddisfatto. Assolutamente consigliato

Un'oasi incantevole

Siamo stati il week end del 19 maggio per due notti. La location è fantastica, un residance immerso nel verde e nel silenzio. L'appartamento è pulitissimo(condizione fondamentale per me) dotato di tutto, una vera bomboniera..da ritornare quanto prima!
