Wonderful condo and week away
My husband and I needed a getaway after both having surgeries and in the middle of recoveries. The condo was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. It was nice to have cable TV provided along with a DVR. I found books in the TV cabinet on the second to last night. It was nice to know those were there.
We ate breakfast and lunch in the condo, and had our suppers out. We found the kitchen to be supplied with everything we needed for those meals except a can opener. We appreciated the small selection of Tupperware because we did need something to keep leftovers in the fridge.
Since we both are recovering from surgeries we found the walk in shower in the master bath with the long bench very helpful. There was only the two of us, so the linens and towels provided were plenty.
It was nice to have the beach umbrella provided and beach chairs. However, the low sitting beach chairs did not work for us with our knee and foot/ankle recoveries so we rented chairs while on Sanibel Island.
The pool at the condo was clean, with pool toys available. We used the pool every day. We did not use the small private beach area, as we went to the Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel Island instead. (It was a bonus to have the handicap parking pass as we were able to park closer to the beach entrance and did not have to pay for the beach parking since we had the pass).
The screened in porch was a nice way to spend the early morning and evening. We took in many beautiful sunsets.
I would heed the warning about those nasty no-seeum bugs. My husband was not bit by them, but I was a mighty tasty meal for them.
The condo was a wonderful place for us to stay. I would definitely stay here again if we travel back to Fort Meyers. It was so convenient that the condo complex was right before the bridge to Sanibel Island
