We had a mixed experience at this property. On the positive side, the house was very clean upon arrival, and the host was extremely quick to respond to all of our questions during the stay. The volleyball net was unusable upon arrival, and the provided bikes had completely flat tires that would not hold air. However, there are a few things future guests should be aware of. First, we encountered persistent bugs both inside and outside the home. While the interior was tidy, these 'nagging' pests were a constant presence. Second, the check-in instructions were confusing; we were given information regarding a key that turned out to be irrelevant, which made the arrival process more difficult than it needed to be. The pool screen door has a lock, but it wasn't functioning properly. Regarding the amenities, the pool and spa are connected, meaning they remain at the same temperature. You cannot heat the spa independently to a higher temperature than the pool. Additionally, the pool heater is tied directly to the filter systemâyou have to shut off the entire filter just to turn off the heater, which is not ideal.Lastly, we were concerned about the high crime rate in the surrounding Fort Pierce area during our stay. While the house itself was well-kept, the neighborhood felt less secure than we anticipated.
