This property needs some upgrading. Last time we were there, the carpet strip (you know, that metal strip with very sharp teeth) was exposed and I cut my foot. This time, the bathroom just didn't look like it was cleaned properly. The floor was kind of greasy, there was hair in the bathtub/shower. Went to the restaurant in the morning and apparently the continental breakfast stops at 930 so we just decided to order a couple of things off of the menu. There were hardly any people in the restaurant but it took 10 minutes to get a coffee brought to the table. Service is very slow there.

Location of pool was unique. There was insufficient lighting(ie. A lamp was unplugged and no where near an outlet). The bed was shoved right to the wall, so one had to climb in to bed from either the bottom or over the other person. No elevator to 2nd floor

Deception

The pictures of this hotel are misleading. It’s not as nice as it looks. They are not bilingual at all — not a single word in French, not even 'bonjour'. The rooms are not soundproof. You can hear people talking, running, and even walking in the hallways from inside your room. People (I'm not sure if they were guests) were running and shouting in my hallway until 1 a.m.

I would first like to say that the staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and efficient. I don’t want this to be a reflection on them. However, the hotel is extremely dated and very dirty in places. The water stains, wallpaper, peeling off the walls and dirty corners of bathrooms are a big reason. I probably won’t stay there again.

Vending machines not well known where they are? went up and down hallways finally found them in pool area,no lights on, pitch dark used my phone to light my way, only drinks no other snacks. Lots of hotels have snacks etc at desk or close. Stairs to second floor not indicated be back entrance door. Poor signage generally in hotelToilet not working near overflowing, could have fixed it if there were a plunger! Getting to room asked staff man carrying sheets where stairs were, he totally ignored me! Ladies at front desk were very nice! bed was comdortable, it was quiet, slept well

The front desk and dining Team were awesome. I missed the breakfast cut off as I was to be picked up at the hotel at 9:30am but my drive was much later. The front desk manager offered me the included breakfast.
