5 Stars. Hotel and Restaurant are separate buildings and are both excellent. Owner is a great host. Quiet rooms with river behind hotel. We will go back there again.

The property is very well placed for ease by public transport into Frieburg, initially by No18 bus and then No.1 tram into Frieburg. The rear of the property looks out onto some houses and then steep wooded hills. It was very quiet and relaxing. The continental breakfast was plentiful and good value. The room was comfortable and clean although the balcony would have benefited from a sweep.
