Charming Lakehouse /w boat dock and heated pool

Retreat with everything you need. Fully furnished and tastefully designed 3 bedroom home on a quiet 2 acre private property, with a short 5 min walk to a shared boat dock. Boat dock is shared between our two properties only.

Home has all the conveniences you can think of to make a perfect getaway. You can sit around the campfire in the evening or just enjoy wildlife site seeing. Rent a boat and explore Lake Lanier or relax by the fire pit or pool.

Great for families and those looking to get away to recharge.

We enjoyed our stay and the house is cute. There are some nice features like an adorable kids’ room, makeup towels, and a sauna
the sauna was divine! Walking distance to the lake and close to Downtown Gainesville. The hosts were very responsive and they even had a xmas tree and lights up for the holidays. I would definitely describe the style as “rustic” with some modern upgrades.In terms of cleanliness, the house could use a deep cleaning. I did not enjoy the clogged drain in the upstairs shower (the hosts sent drain cleaner for us to use which was helpful but we didn’t really have time to complete maintenance duties) and the downstairs shower had a bunch of hairs all over which were 100% not ours. The walls and baseboards are pretty dirty overall. And we did encounter a few bugs
but maybe that’s normal for a lake house? The freezer and fridge need a thorough cleaning. I say all this not to insult the house/hosts but to let others get a feel for the rental. Lastly, some informational items: there is no disposal so if it’s a long-term stay do expect to constantly clean food out of the kitchen sink; there are only sheer curtains in the downstairs bedroom but it’s pretty shady and private (but not a blackout situation); and we could have used more hangers.

The property is attractive, inviting and well kept. Since it is spacious, not cluttered there is continuous ease of movement, room for one's belongings. We definitely would love to return should the need arise. We also enjoyed the property we visited in this area two months ago but prefer this setting.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful vrbo for our wedding weekend! It was the perfect place to peacefully relax after all the festivities. We enjoyed the walk down to the lake to enjoy our morning coffee, swam in the pool, had dinner on the patio dining table and made a cozy fire in the evening! The house was secluded and it was a nice romantic getaway! If we are ever back in the area for another long weekend, we will absolutely stay here again.

Great house!

We had a wonderful stay. Kids loved the pool and the bunk beds! Plenty of supplies for our group of 7 ladies. If we venture back to Georgia, we would definitely stay here again. Houses nearby, but you wouldn't know it. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the walk to the water.

Not only did our kiddo have fun as well as us.. But the dogs had a blast as well! We will be back for sure! Highly recommend this place! Also, Alex and Julie are quick to answer any of your questions! They also thought of EVERYTHING.. If you forgot something don’t worry I’m sure it will be there! Make sure to take a stroll down to the lake, you won't regret!

Great Weekend

We were in the area for a wedding and the place was wonderful to entertain until then. Lake was great for the dogs and the pool was great for the humans. Very well stocked kitchen for a rental too! Owners couldn’t have been nicer to deal with.

Very clean

We were just there during the nights to sleep because we were gone racing during the day. 20 minutes from Road Atlanta. The beds are very comfortable. Very clean. I did like waking up and looking out the back door down the hill.

Very pleased

We were very pleased with our stay. Host was great & provided welcome snacks and even had coffee & filters available. House was very clean & comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen (even though we never used anything except coffee pot). Even saw a few deer in the morning. We will definitely stay there again next time we come to town.

Great weekend and hosts

We had some friends travel five hundred miles from the coast for the weekend. It was well worth the drive. The house is well kept and beds are very comfortable. It is close to downtown Gainesville which has some amazing restaurants. It rained, but had a lot of good college football. The hosts offered to alter our stay because of the weather. They are very kind. The lake is a good distance from the lake is my only thing I had a problem with. I would recommend this experience.

Lake House

What a place to unwind! The house was so calming and had the comforts of home. A fantastic yard, front porch, screened in porch. This is a perfect place to relax- take a dip in the pool- then enjoy the evening by the fire pit. Perfect for family or just a quiet getaway. I have to be honest once we got there we had no desire to venture off we just enjoyed the serenity of the home. So secluded but yet convenient to stores and restaurants. I can’t say enough about Julia and her husband. They took care of every detailed and where beyond helpful and hospitable. We are planning a fall trip to stay at their lake house. I could only image how beautiful it will be in the fall.

Terrific Lake House!

What a Great Lake House! The house is very comfortable and well stocked. We utilized the dock as we brought our boat with us and there are many convenient launch areas around the house
as well as great places to eat on Lake Lanier. The pool area is a great place to relax with friends and family. We highly recommend this house for your next vacation on Lake Lanier!
