The home sits on top of a hill, which provides a nice elevated setting and privacy. Please note that because of this location, the driveway is somewhat steep, so guests should drive up slowly and carefully when arriving.

This is the first time that we've stayed in Lake Lanier House 1. We've stayed at Lake Lanier House 2 two other times and as always have been pleased with our stay. The properties are always clean and comfortable. Restaurants and stores are in close vicinity. We'll definitely book again.

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay while visiting my son who attends school nearby. The home looks virtually brand new and met our needs perfectly. It’s located within 5 minutes of all the shopping we needed. The neighborhood is under construction, but it was very quiet and peaceful during our visit. Chris, our host, was in contact regularly as our trip approached and quickly responded to any questions.

Peacful retreat

Two friends and I enjoyed this clean, comfortable, modern, quiet yet convenient home for a quick getaway. Comfy furnishings and beds. Appreciated the blackout bedroom curtains and Keurig coffee provided. Not shown in photos is a comfy, peaceful patio behind the house.A couple of suggestions the owner could consider providing to make stays even better for future guests: paper towels and/or kitchen towel(s) and some tumbler-style glasses since only wine glasses were available during our stay. Great communication with host and would stay again!

Perfect Spot for a Quiet Getaway

Our stay at this beautifully designed/decorated house
 was perfect for couples or a family looking to get out of the city and be right on the lake! Close to restaurants and more. I would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and accommodating! Definitely recommend!

The house was a perfect, comfortable spot for the 4 of us to stay while in Gainesville. Easy access to the golf course where we were watching our grandson play. Restaurants close by and they had everything we needed! Enjoyed it

Basic House

Pretty basic house, it has what you need for basic stays. The craftsmanship of the work that was done on the house was not top notch but it is functional. There is limited supplies in the kitchen so if you plan on cooking you might need to bring your own supplies. Be advised the driveway is very slopped so if you aren't comfortable driving up a steep driveway this isn't the place for you. It's closeness to restraunts is very nice. Also very easy to get in and out of town if you are heading north or east because you avoid most of the Gainesville traffic.

Tucked back in a newer development, this was on a quiet cul-de-sac. Close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Clean, neat, and great communication when needed.

Great place to stay, close to town and Wedding venue

We had a wonderful stay. The only thing to be careful about would be the driveway. It is very sloped and so for elderly mom, was a little difficult. Also did not have access to the electric charger. The Kerig needs to be updated as it was very difficult to figure out and was very touchy - Coffee is a must!

Family meet up

We met our South Carolina family since half way for each family. Beautiful house, no lake access but nice view of lake. Would stay again! Would suggest a booklet or guide with information about home, appliances,amenities and local restaurants guide. Lots of chain eateries around but would be fun to have guide to local dining.

Anniversary get away

We loved this house. Everything was beautiful & very calming atmosphere. We enjoyed shopping during the day & playing games at night. The last we went to Marina & looked at the lake & admired the beauty. The only change would be having a garden hose outside to wash off the vehicle until road is fixed. Got dirty getting things in & out. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone! We loved it!!!

Fantastic stay near Lake Lanier/Gainesville

Highly recommend this property and would stay again. Beautiful home, super clean, quiet street and close to the water and to great restaurants/shopping/coffee/bars on the downtown Gainesville square. Super easy/fast communication with homeowner. 5 stars.
