The house is located on the outskirts of the historic hamlet Starda (12th century). Century). The pool is private, for the holiday guests.
The CASA La Quercia is located on a quiet and panoramic position. The large pool (6 x 12 m) is located about 50 meters in a panoramic setting!
Around the house you will find large lawns and a beautiful terrace with garden furniture and garden. The entire facility is clean and well maintained manifests. The courteous owner, an elderly Italian lady who lives in Florence and is very helpful. Guests will each receive from her. She speaks Italian + English.
The house belongs to the municipality of Gaiole in Chianti and is ca,
15km outside. 35km North of Siena, about 60km south
Lich Florence. The secluded location absolutely guarantees peace,
splendid panorama over the Chianti hills. Around the House
available all year round silver grünee olive trees and
small Reberge. The restaurant Osteria di Starda, once an olive mill is a 10-minute walk away and offers delicious Tuscan cuisine and Chianti Classico own red wine on. Good price and performance.
For the first requirement, see the about 4/5 km from the bar (with a small grocery section), in MONTE LUCO the bare necessities, or in the small grocery Moncioni. For larger purchases, you will find all shops in MONTEVARCHI or GAIOLE IN CHIANTI (both approx. 15 km.)

A little bit of paradise
The situation is secluded and delightful. The only sounds were from the birds and the occasional car. The house was spotlessly clean and the lady owner was charming. We loved exploring the nearby hill-top towns and we ate some delicious food. Because the house is quite high there was a welcome breeze. The pool was exceptional.

Mooie locatie in de bergen
Gastvrije ontvangst door de eigenares met taart en een flesje wijn. Huisje is gezellig ingericht. Ruime tuin, prachtig uitzicht en zeer fraai en groot privé zwembad. Huisje ligt afgelegen, ideaal voor wie van rust houdt. Steden als Florence, Arezzo, Sienna echter zeer goed aan te rijden van daaruit.

Beautiful place to spend a relaxing vacation
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in the house in Starda. We enjoyed a very warm welcome by Francesca, who is the owner of the house and lives nearby. Her selfmade fig cake was excellent! The house is well equipped with everything you need and all the things are in a very good shape. From the terrace you have a beautiful view and during the hot summer days you will definitely enjoy the big swimming pool. The only inconvenience is the location, the house is in the middle of nowhere and it takes a 20 minutes drive by car to the next supermarket. But that's all and when you go to Arezzo or Siena or Firenze it doesn't matter. Again a big thanks to Francesca who gave us excellent hints for beautiful villages and places and also to Assunta. She organizes everything and we highly recommend to go to the nearby Podere L'Aquila where she offers one day a week her excellent selfmade pizza.

Der Aufenthalt in der Toskana war ein Traum! Die Besitzerin sowie die Verwalterin des Hauses waren sehr bemüht uns einen tollen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen! Die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten der Besitzerin wie z.B. und in Feigenkuchen zeigten die Herzlichkeit und die Freude an der Vermietung des Hauses. Das Einzige, was wir gern vor der Buchung gewusst hätten, ist das Verbot von Sonnencreme am Pool. Trotz ständigen abduschens unter der Außendusche mussten wir im Anschluss an den Urlaub eine zusätzliche Reinigungsgebühr von 30€ zahlen. Der Aufpreis ist generell absolut in Ordnung, nur ein Verweis darauf auf der Buchungsseite hätte uns bei der Buchung bereits darauf vorbereitet. Der Aufenthalt an sich war dennoch sehr schön. Die Abende auf der Terrasse, mit gelegentlichen Besuchen von einem Fuchs und Wildschweinfamilien, sowie die Tage am Pool und die Tagesausflüge. Dazu die Lage und die Ruhe des Hauses, welche einem einen sehr entspannten Urlaub beschert.

Schöne Umgebung, erholsamer Aufenthalt
Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, findet dort beide. Viel Platz, schöne Umgebung und liebevolle Betreuung durch die Eigentümer machen den Urlaub zu einem angenehmen Aufenthalt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Traumhaft ruhige Unterkunft
Wir haben im August 12 Nächte in dem Haus verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr schön war auch der große, gepflegte Pool der nur am Wochenende von der Familie der Vermieterin mit genutzt wurde. Der Empfang war trotzt der nächtlichen Anreise sehr herzlich und freundlich. Das Haus liegt relativ einsam. Zum nächsten Supermarkt oder Restaurant müssen immer mehrere Kilometer über eine Schotterpiste zurückgelegt werden. Das muss einem klar sein. Dafür ist man mitten in der Natur. Es können bei Dämmerung viele Wildtiere beobachtet werden. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch der Pizzaabend bei Assunta (die Verwalterin des Hauses). Wir haben das Haus als Basis für unsere Ausflüge nach Siena, Pisa und Florenz genutzt. Schön ist auch das kleine Gaiole. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit Charme
Wir hatten zwei erholsame Urlaubswochen in diesem schönen Ferienhaus mit Pool in der Toskana. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und mit allen notwendigen Dingen eingerichtet. Gerade in der Corona-Zeit haben wir die besonders ruhige Lage des Domizils sehr schätzen gelernt. Für Familien mit größeren Kindern ist der Pool ein Traum! Auch die Vermieterin Francesca bleibt uns mit ihrer Gastfreundschaft in guter Erinnerung.
